The Packers improved to 2-0 for the third time under Matt LaFleur after beating the Commanders, 27-18. When they started 2-0 in 2019 and 2020, the Packers reached the NFC Championship Game.Both their victories this season have come against teams that won 12+ games in 2024, as the Lions had 15 wins last season and the Commanders won 12 games. The Packers are the fifth team in Super Bowl era since 1966 to win their first two games of a season both against teams that won 12+ games in the previous season.
Eagles vs. Chiefs: Battle on the LinesAs is the case most week the Eagles have the advantage along the lines heading into this matchup. The Chiefs offensive line has a completely new left side, with Kingsley Suamataia taking over at left guard and Josh Simmons now the left tackle. Jaylx Hunt should be matched up across from Simmons most of the game. Moro Ojomo should be across Suamataia. Both should be able to win those matchups if they are going to be the impact players the Eagles expect them to be this season. The right side of the line is better but not special. Creed Humphrey is elite and should be a tough matchup for Jalen Carter, but Humphrey can only do so much with the four other players he is lining up with. On the defensive side of the ball the Chiefs have two elite players in Chris Jones and George Karlaftis. Jones moves all over the line. It would be wise for the Chiefs to put him across from Tyler Steen as opposed to Landon Dickerson. Karlaftis should be matched up against Lane Johnson most of the game as he only rushes from the left side. Expecting the Eagles to shut down both is asking a lot, but with Jeff Stoutland running the show it certainly is possible. Coaching is a bigger part of this matchup than it is in most weeksAndy Reid should have something new schemed up after watching Mahomes get tossed around in the Super Bowl. Steve Spagnuolo loves to blitz, which is a big factor when looking at how the Eagles offensive line will handle pressure. It will be up to Jalen Hurts to help his offensive line pre-snap by trying to figure out what pressure Spags has coming and from where. Eagles are the better team. Mahomes is the best player on the field. They at Arrowhead.

Eagles secondary looking suspect through one week. I don’t think Eagles can afford to have AJ, Devonta and Saquon be contained and still win.

Yes, the CB hasn't been good but if they can make sure mahomes don't have any time to throw then that would help.
Plus, there's people out there who picked KC to win this game with only 1 person picking the eagles to win.
