The logo wasn't a problem. The name was. Wish they kept the logo and changed the name instead.
They did change the name, but they also feel the logo is racist as well.
Who is they? White liberals? Every Native I've ever known had non-issue with the logo, it was the name that was bothersome, and even some weren't bothered by the name.
The folks who wanted the name and logo changed. But then again, that's their problem.
