I'm going to tell you a funny story. Back when I was a kid, I was a hardcore Falcons fan. My faves were Wallis Francis, William Andrews, and even though he was hurt a lot, I liked Steve Bartkowski too. Loved that Gritz Blitz defense! But I also idolized Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, and especially Everson Walls. Everson Walls was my fucking dude! One day, I got so pissed with the Falcons, I started rooting for the Cowboys. The Cowboys beat my Falcons in an important game we should've won, and we started making stupid front office decisions. I was so pissed; I went to my room with tears in my eyes. While I was sitting there being pissed, something said to me, "Look at you, all mad and shit. Nigga, I don't care where you go. Heaven, hell, Mars, Jupiter, you're a Falcons fan. I don't care that you wore Converse cleats in little league because Dorsett wore Converse cleats. You're a fucking Falcons fan. Yeah, Everson Walls and Drew Pearson were great players, but they don't play for your team. You'll always be a Falcons fan, for better or worse! Now, fix your fucking face, and get ready for next year!" So, yeah, I get the frustration.
