This late in the year, SF is better off with sticking with Purdy. He's been riding the bench but has learned the offense and played pretty well under pressure against a really good Dolphins defense. Bringing in Baker or any other QB so late could fuck up the team flow, especially with the learning curve of learning a new offense.
The SF defense can help carry them through the playoffs. Purdy just has to play mistake free. Don't see Baker or Cam doing that.

They still need a backup QB regardless so if anything Purdy starts for the next few games while whomever they bring in learns the offense
Agreed. Just think it would be dumb to have Baker signed to take over as a possible starter. Sheeit, I'll probably avoid signing him to be a backup. Dude is the drizzling shits.
