TAMPA BAY HC BRUCE ARIANS ACTUALLY WENT & GOT A SUPER BOWL TATTOO (PIC)
March 30, 2021
By Darrelle Lincoln

Bruce Arians actually did it.
Some members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gotten tattoos to celebrate their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Rookie standout Antoine Winfield Jr. and Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans, just to name a few.

Bucs head coach Bruce Arians confirmed Tuesday that he’s got some new Super Bowl ink of his own.

“I’m a man of my word- “when we win the Super Bowl, I will get a tattoo” well I got mine and I love it!! #SBLV #superbowlLVchamps”

At 68, Arians became the oldest NFL coach to win the Super Bowl after the Bucs bested the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at their home stadium in February.

Arians had previously retired in 2017 as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals without any Super Bowl rings but came back to lead the Buccaneers, and it turned out to be the best decision he ever made.

Haha. This fool over threw in practice. Only one white Alabama QB I know of played decent in the NFL and that was Namath.

In the past 10 drafts who were the can't miss qbs that really ended up as superstars ?

Cause we need to remember that folks passed on mahomes and Deshaun

Hell we can find so called experts who said Cam would be a bust

No doubt. No one had high praises for Lamar, they said he was development and would not start his Rookie season. Kid was MVP his second year. The Oregon QB was looked at as a WTF moment and he was offensive rookie of the year. I do not believe Russel Wilson was looked at as ready now to be a starter. Carrol in training camp said he is the starter and analyst were like what the hell does Pete see in him this fast.

These analyst do not know the heart and competitiveness some of these athletes can display.

Humm interesting.....
:puzzled::puzzled::puzzled:

Under pressure rating can that be fixed? OU always has a strong O line or was he running into pressure. Stats like that make coaches jump to film and change their minds.
He doesn't look too shabby from his highlights. With the fucked up B1G10 season, I didn't catch many of Ohio State's games so I don't know how good the defenses were that Fields faced having that sort of drop-off under pressure.

Trey looks good to go but that WAS ND State too...sooo.

Hey, Jordan Love has moved to the backup position behind Rodgers, bumping out Tim Boyle so I won't count out a smaller school or conference.
Russell Wilson bumped off Matt Flynn and never looked back. Flynn has looked like a bum ever since.

SEATTLE -- The Seahawks are giving wide receiver Tyler Lockett a four-year, $69.2 million contract extension that includes $37 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday.
Lockett was entering the final season of a three-year, $31.8 million extension he signed in 2018. He has had his three best seasons since then, with 28 receiving touchdowns (fifth among NFL wide receivers) and 3,076 yards (13th).
The $17.3 million new-money average in Lockett's extension ranks 10th among NFL wide receivers, according to Spotrac.com.
Touchdown Machine

Tyler Lockett matched his career high with 10 touchdown receptions in 2020, continuing a pace that puts him among the top TD catchers in the NFL since 2018.

-- ESPN Stats & Information
Lockett, 28, was a third-round pick by Seattle in 2015. He made the Pro Bowl and was a first-team All-Pro as a returner in his rookie season, then came back from a compound leg fracture late in the 2016 season to start every game in 2017. He has since supplanted the retired Doug Baldwin as Seattle's No. 1 receiver. Last season, Lockett and DK Metcalf became only the second pair of Seahawks receivers in team history to each top 1,000 yards in the same year.
With Metcalf a year away from becoming eligible for what is expected to be a massive payday, there was no guarantee that Seattle would reinvest in Lockett with a third contract.
Lockett was set to have the third-largest cap hit of any Seahawks player in 2021 at $14.95 million. His extension lowers that number to around $7 million, a source told ESPN. That gives Seattle some needed breathing room against the cap and is one reason for the timing of Lockett's extension, which comes much earlier in the offseason than when the Seahawks typically do new deals for players who are under contract.
Quarterback Russell Wilson and Baldwin celebrated Lockett's extension on Twitter:

Lockett has shown a knack for improbable catches. Among players with at least 200 targets, he has the second-highest catch percentage over expectation since 2018 at plus-12%, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. That ability was on display during an overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals last season, when Lockett turned in the most productive game of his career with 15 catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns.

EDITOR'S PICKS
"It's one thing to make a catch like that some time in your life, but to do it every time you get a chance, it's pretty crazy -- and particularly under pressure and the stress of the game and the situation, all that," coach Pete Carroll said after that game. "He's a phenomenal, phenomenal football player."
