Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Identifies as multi racial. Is that the same way as Dwayne Wade's kid identifies as a female.

Damn, I just saw the news
Welp looks like it's official now, he's going to Miami !!! :(

But at least the 49ers get a 3rd round pick for McDaniel
The same thing happened when Robert Salah left us for the Jets job
The NFL has that rule in place
That when a minority candidate leaves for a head coaching position
The NFL awards us with a draft pick

Mike McDaniel was a pretty good OC & run game coordinator
He was the person who schemed up most of those running plays for the 9ers

:sad::sad::sad::sad:

Who are Mike Daniel’s Mom and Dad? Ethnic

Mike McDaniel’s father is unknown, but his mother’s name is Donna. However, there is no information about his siblings or family online so it is difficult to determine his ethnicity.

Because of recent discussions about his race, it is known that his parents are biracial, but his ethnic background is not on the web. On the other hand, the football coach was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado, USA.

Similarly, he attended Yale University, but details of his education could not be found.

Personal life
McDaniel is married to his wife, Katie. While at Yale, McDaniel earned a degree in history and is a proficient violinist.

I can't unsee it now :roflmao:

Man please.... That's Spiderman

The Dolphins hired an ol' John Leguizamo Mark Ruffalo lookin mutherfucca :giggle:
McDaniel's dad has some weak-ass genes. The CAC gene stands out.
Looking at McDaniels past accomplishments. I assume he is good in interviews. Cause I'm not impressed.
Bienimy has been running a high profile offense for years.

Quick note on former 49ers coach Mike McDaniel:
He's actually a running game specialist, not a passing game specialist

He was the one who drew up the intricate running play designs every week before the games
Shannahan was the one who called the plays on game day, and in which order/situation
McDaniel was like the mad scientist behind the scenes, even though his title was OC
He comes across as extremely intelligent, but kind of nerdy
He doesn't really come off like an alpha male type (like Mike Tomlin)
So I don't know how well that will translate as the head coach of Miami

But going forward the Dolphins offense will probably be similar to the 49ers running offense
Leaning on the run game to setup the pass
Zone blocking running scheme, with more motions & shifts
Not sure if Miami has the O-line & personal to run that style yet, so there might be a transition period though

It's actually (2) 3rd round picks, one this year and the other next year

Crazy part is besides Deebo's success I noticed his running offense never ranked higher than 12th... I don't get this hire

Ridiculous. League office applying pressure to the Texans.
No self respecting black man takes this gig after the fuckry that went down with the Texans this past season. Lovie saw it with his own eyes. If this is even remotely true, he will expeditiously tell the Texans to fuck off.

Can you imagine two black men being used as place holders for back to back seasons? The Texans obviously want to hire that no experience having CAC.

Why is Pep Hamilton being ignored? He had HC experience, albeit 5 games, in the most recent version of the XFL with St.Louis.

I can accept that. I've contended that mixed muhfuckas SHOULD self-identify...what do THEY say they are? That's better than Cablanasian.
Hell, I think Cassius Marsh probably more identifies as Black than McDaniel...don't hold me on that; I'm just going on interviews about his background and who his father is. Looking at him, you can hardly tell.

If we can claim Obama, Halle,DeBarge, Jurnee, I guess we can claim McDaniel. His dad is black.
:hithead: I had a separate comment to make but listening to Professor Black Truth on my phone made me lose my train of thought. :D

Nah fam, but also keep in mind Jimmy Garoppolo
We got nothing from Jimmy in running offense...literally nothing
Compared to teams with running QB's
Like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, etc, etc
Go back & look at the teams in the top 10 for rushing offense
And tell me which ones have a QB that does not scramble at all?

McDaniel was pretty good at working around Garoppolo's deficiencies

Pep Hamilton will be the OC for the 49ers.....hopefully :)
Taking over Mike McDaniel's spot
We already have Anthony Lynn as assistant head coach
We just need to bring in Pep as the OC
And then Tyrod Taylor to backup & help Trey Lance

It would be a bad move for Pep to be OC for a coach known as an offensive"genius". That's partly what could be hurting Bienemy and Leftwich. Hard to know what's really them and what's Reid or Arians. I think if the Bears interest in Pep for OC was real, he should've taken the job. If Fields balls out for a defensive HC with Pep as OC, Pep may be a star next HC search go-around.

Yeah good points
And also, I know Pep did interview for the Giants OC position, last week
So seems like he has multiple options right now :dunno:

The 49ers have a good chance of going back to the playoffs next season
So if Trey lance balls out, then Pep would easily be considered for a possible head coaching position
Not sure how successful the Texans would be with Davis Mills :dunno:
