Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

He still goes to the HOF if he gets to another SB. This is going to be touchy because he's straw that stirs the drink. Everything goes through him and I think that the players are more accountable to Jalen than they are Sriani..like they dont want to let him down because he's a leader in every sense of the word. That has to count for something.

Jawnswoop reminds me of how I was with Cam Newton. Difference is that Cam really didn't have a lot of talent around him, but i see similarities in Cam and Jalen's leadership style. Jalen is sort of the quiet stoic leader and Cam is the "rah-rah outgoing" type of leader. Both are effective, just different styles

man, i don't get it with this hurts hate

black man, quiet, no drama or controversies, works hard, leads his team, success at the college level at two major schools, already has a chip at the nfl level...clean-cut, good looking dude [pause], settled down with his girl...should be one of the new 'faces of the nfl'...this is your corporate image guy that *should* be promoted more by the NFL and in the media, but because he's not yapping and causing scenes, no bueno...

we raider fans would kill to have this guy on our squad.

shit, i don't need you to throw for 400 yards a game, protect the ball, get the tough yards, make the throws when you have to...win the game and, walk out of the stadium with your suit on

turned on the game. why are dolphins wearing black in miami in september? isn't it like 90 degrees with 90 humidity this time of year?

may be something to watch as the game goes on...not that ny is a powerhouse, but still...

I don't think you understand how white/light colored uniforms help reflect the sun. It's a night game, suns down. Doesn't matter what color Miami is wearing right now Lol

Whoever thought having two Monday Night Football games on at the same time should be tarred and feathered.

the fuck? i thought the games were going to come on one after the other...this makes no sense, breaking up your tv audience. i didn't even know the denver/cincy game had started

plus, miami/jets game started early, already into 2nd quarter, folks here on west coast just getting off of work

edit: [translation: money grab]

AI Overview

NFL Monday Night Doubleheaders are scheduled events, particularly common in Weeks 2, 4, 6, and 7 of the 2025 season, featuring two games on the same Monday night due to the league's updated broadcast deal with ESPN and ABC. These games are broadcast across multiple platforms, including ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+. The two matchups for a given Monday are typically separated by a few hours, with one game starting at 7 p.m. ET and the second at 10 p.m. ET.
Why they happen

  • Updated TV Deals: The NFL's increased number of games and longer broadcasting agreements with ESPN and ABC allow for more Monday Night Football games.
  • Network Preferences: With a set number of weeks and dedicated Monday Night Football time slots, networks like ESPN and ABC use doubleheaders to air their allocated games.
How to watch

  • Multiple Platforms: Games can be watched on ESPN, ABC, and streaming service ESPN+.
  • Staggered Start Times: The two games do not overlap, with the first typically starting at 7 p.m. ET and the second at 10 p.m. ET, providing a full night of NFL action.

I don't mind it, because if one of the games sucks you can change games
I hate it. MNF is an institution. Having two games on at the same time takes away from both.

I know it's no longer the home of the marque game of the week anymore since Sunday Night Football started on NBC but I hate having to switch between two games. This ain't WCW Monday Nitro vs WWF Raw lolz

but CBS and Fox will have two games at the same time on Sunday :dunno:

What's the diffeence?

If ESPN/ABC doesn't care about ratings, why do you? This isn't the first time they've done it. They've been doing it for years.

Big difference between Sunday afternoon and Monday Prime time.

I know they've done it for a few years now, I still hate it.
