he's been ruled out for the year. The one measure of comfort trevor lawrence could lean on is now gone. If they don't block for him, or play some defense, Jacksonville is in for another long year.

Nagy is in over his head as an NFL head coach and play caller, and Fields’ legs are the only thing that will save him with this OLine and Nagy’s offense. Nagy’s gimmick wannabe Andy Reid offense was figured out after 2018; hopefully we can get thru this season with Fields in one piece and Nagy fired.
Preseason or not; Trubisky just showed what can be done running an NFL-caliber offense behind an NFL OLine last week. Shit was embarrassing.
One of the media members asked Nagy recently about there possibly being a "package" for Fields during the season (assuming Dalton remains the starter). Nagy didn't confirm, but his reaction made it clear that there likely will be one.
The last time Nagy got cute and tried to install a package for Trubisky, he fucked his shoulder up on a designed run, first play. Obviously MT is no JF, but I don't want Nagy getting cute and using Fields JUST for his legs and getting him killed on designed runs in some short yardage packages. Dude is complete QB with outstanding arm talent and smarts, that happens to be able to run too.

If shit hits the fan, & the Bears don't make the playoffs, he can use Andy Dalton as the scapegoat
