If teams don't want to pay qbs $45 million a year or more, they gon have to draft a qb every 4-5 years and have one in the wings waiting for the starters rookie deal to be over.

what NYG needs to do is re-sign Saquon, get a decent O-Coordinater and open up that offense. See what DJ can really do. Also draft a couple of WRs. Sheperd is legit but is always injured. K Toney and Golliday are both gone. That other WR they got (Darius Slayton?) drops passes at the worst moments. Basically, set jones up to succeed. and if he STILL doesn't produce, then get rid of him.It's gonna be interesting. I agree. Re-sign Saquon and put the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jones. I have no issues with the o-coordinator. At worse, Daboll will take over play calling. Definitely need to pick up at least 2 WRs. Shepard might be done cuz of all these injuries and concussions. Slayton is cool but inconsistent. Hodgins was a rare find that I look forward to seeing more from. Saw some nice splashes from our rookie WR in Wan'dale Robinson before he tore his ACL. No telling when he'll be back or if he'll even be the same player.

That's why I suggested the non-exclusive franchise tag. If another team is willing to give him more money then we have the option to match or let him walk
