Crazy. We thought he might be gone, but never would've guessed Detroit. I guess it makes sense if Williams isn't coming back Monty can def fill that role.

Looks like they have 1 more year of Cousins
Then of course dude will want another big guaranteed contract
But he's already (almost) 35 yrs old
Plus Minny has to back up the Brinks truck for Justin Jefferson pretty soon
So Cousins is done after this
Minnesota seems like one of those teams
Thats just good enough to have a winning record
But not good enough to make a playoff push
I can see them having 9-11 wins this coming season
They were frauds last season
But now they lost Dalvin Thomlinson & Patrick Peterson
And possibly ZaDarius Smith

Yeah I liked Jimmie Ward
But he's getting up in age though (31 yrs old)
Dude has been on the team for 9 years !!!

He stuck around because he was able to play multiple positions
In the box safety, deep safety, nickel CB, outside CB
Jack of all trades, but unfortunately a master of none
He wasn't a consistent playmaker, but he was solid
Injuries plagued him, his first few years though
He followed DeMeco Ryans to Houston
So I guess he'll be the vet to teach the young guys on defense, until he retires in a few years
Love the way he runs
He was a good backup/rotational guy
But he's not worth $10 million a year though
49ers losing a bunch of quality depth/rotational guys this offseason

Yea I think Denver is posturing and praying they cause a stir with that leak. If a team is hot enough for a WR to give up a 1st for Juedy, that would be an overpay.
