If I had to take a guess.....
I would say he has a high ankle sprain
But I bet he plays the whole game through it

They will probably just tape it up during the break
And let Mahomes play out of the shotgun
No scrambling, no play action pass dropbacks, little movement in the pocket

Then at halftime, they'll continue taping & working on stabilizing his ankle
That adrenaline is still flowing, so he doesn't really feel the pain yet
