Without a doubt. That Double OT loss against Minnesota where Westbrook missed the layup and then fouled the dude….well people conveniently forgot that Westbrook made the steal to start all that shit. Good and Bad with the guy.

You wanna know why I go to bat for Westbrook? Cuz he gives 100% full energy and effort. Always been that way. Again, I watch these dudes. They’re lazy. Malone called them out and then got fired. Max player MPJ got benched cuz he wasn’t “engaged”

Westbrook on basically a VET minimum contract and he plays the hardest and gives the most effort on the entire team. I’m including Jokic in that because Jokic doesn’t give the energy or effort defensively. I would say that it’s hard to win with Westbrook as your starter BUT Jokic proved that wrong. Just gotta know how and when to channel dude’s energy like Denver has. But y’all don’t hear me tho

The biggest thing about Westbrook more than any other player is, he tries.

You can visibly see that he’s trying, not just going through the motions and gives a damn about every single minute thstbhe’s playing.

And you can’t say that about most players.

WINNING effort. What you missing here fam? His effort has won games this season. I can’t speak for his other teams during this journeyman era but shit he’s been a huge pickup for my hometown team. It’s not wasted effort. And quit acting like the NBA is full of dudes who play their hearts out. Let’s not get foolish here. Like I said, he’s on a fucking VET MINIMUM contract and plays harder than most MAX contract players in YEAR 17.

I don't watch Nuggets enough to say they play with effort. I just seen the Mavs play with effort ane got their ass smoked by the Grizz so you gotta forgive me if I ain't trying to hear that effort shit. :lol:

I ain't gonna change my opinion on Wesbtrook and you not gonna change yours so its all good. If you don't see nothing wrong with him that's all that matters. If i'm building a team guys like him i'd avoid personally. Triple doubles are cool for fantasy though.
