Shit didn't know he was 37 I mean he played for the Supersonics so it makes sense but damn.....see that goes back to is this a rental for the Rockets? How much time he really got left? He got a wet jumper so he may have a Dirk type career when father time come but shit....damn. Yeah i feel worse about this move now this closer to a one year rental if anything...I know he still got it but you don't get healthier as you get older.
Dirk no where near as hurt as KD has been. And truth be told the rockets should have him for the next 3 years and that’s it! So I would say they would need to win either this year or next…

I'm sure Durant knows he's not the best player like he once was but he can still help the team is what the rockets are betting on instead of being patient to rebuild.

Thunder added what they needed since they already had players that were good in their roles on that team which made it easy which didn't take much to get Caruso and hartenstein but not every team is built like the thunder to the point they can find another Caruso and hartenstein on the market .

Like I said earlier they didn't make this trade to make a 37 year old KD as their best player on the team. They got KD to help the fill the gap needed on offense & give them better shooting.

Rockets are banking on Amen to turn another corner & be their best player next season.

Only reason he starts for Chicago is because that team is shitty..

He'll come off the bench for a contender though..
Maybe aldama from Memphis but i don’t think he’s a center; but yea they need at least one more piece to truly contend; the west offseason is going to be very interesting! And it’s already started…

No Dirk wasn't...he suffered ankle issues he just played on it but he could because his game didn't require speed or athleticism....he was taller then everyone guarding him.

I give KD the edge because he has handles and good foot speed and faster then Dirk. So at the very least at the end of his career I can see him providing scoring outputs still because the jumper still gonna be wet.

Then they are fucked if they are banking on Amen. With all due respect to him he has a future but he's not making that jump in one offseason. Nobody can fix their jumper like that. And I don't even think Rockets expecting that. I honestly think they are expecting 30 point a night KD and they may get it if he stays healthy.

I’m not comparing them ability wise; KD is better than dirk in that department. I’m talking about injury history. KD has had way more major injuries than dirk did. And players who have had a lot of injuries tend to have more the older they get…

I got what you're saying. I'm saying Dirk didn't have injury history but father time caught up to him and he was still able to shoot. KD even with the injury history should be what Dirk was because he has more tools in his arsenal so even if it diminishes due to injury he should still be at least what Dirk was. But that's years down the road. Right now KD is still closer to prime KD. Its all about availability as opposed to skill IMO.

Heat were weird this year. They like these young guys but wouldn't play them. Makes zero sense. Basically what they saying is they want to hold on to them for trade bait because I don't believe guys like Ware and Jaquez are apart of their future.
Jaquez was injured and had stomach issues all season and he was mediocre
This year will tell

Yes true he just gotta stay healthy; if he does that he will be fine; we shall see if he can…

Its a gamble on Amen but they value him that high. Amen does need to work on his shot ( & his handles) but if you watch his game he can flourish into a star without having a jumper similar to Westbrook. He affects the game in so many ways. He could dam near average a triple double and be a lock down defender.

West gonna be wide open next season..There's gonna be a lot of good teams in the West.

I would say a good center and or good guard to start with Steph. I think podz and buddy should come off the bench! So getting a starting center and a reliable guard would be solid! So for example Melton was solid with Curry but he can’t stay healthy! Him and curry would have worked well together! I would have to think about the center; maybe the Chicago center in just not sold on him though…
Vuc is nice. Top 10 center in the league.....he just lacks defense but next to Draymon it could work. Might can get him for cheap as far as trades goes.
