Every contract has increased in sports.. there is no sport who tv contract decreased overtime.. yesterday price is not today’s price.. that shit is across the board period..inflation
Inflation doesn’t cause a triple on any tv rights contract! Can’t show me one outside of maybe the nfl within the last 10 years; not mlb not hockey not wnba not tennis!! And also they sold more games as well! Again if they nba was having issues the folks who buy and resale wouldn’t be doing that…

There’s people that ride the bench that make more in a yr than what magic Johnson made in a yr as a player..is that because they are better players than magic Johnson or cause of inflation and the fact due to everything generate more money cause of the times.. tix sale prices for games ain’t the same price in 85 as it is in 2025.. everything goes up.. in fact it’s been shown how certain movies have made more money even though less people might went to go see certain movies compared to others in the past… so once again show me any sport that has signed a deal for less money than its previous deal, you can’t cause every sport makes more naturally due to money being different now aka inflation

Indiana got the split they wanted.

It's weird to me that everybody says this.

I went to the club on Saturday and left with a 5. Better than leaving with nothing or a beast. But there were some 8s and 9s there-- it's not like I walked in, picked who I wanted and left. I just was not completely unfulfilled.

Indiana wanted to win both games on the road, like they did in Cleveland and in New York. If they split in either of those series, people would have said "Indiana got the split they wanted." But obviously they want to win every game they play. They did not get what they wanted when they got their asses beat last night.

We gotta retire that phrase!
