“I just let them know, ‘Day 1, right now, moving forward, we’ve got to be on our P’s and Q’s every single day,’” Tyrese Maxey told his teammates. “‘We have to work extremely hard, outwork people, and play hard every single night.’“Coach Nurse made a statement that when fans leave the building, wherever we are at, they’re going to say we played our tails off that night. So that’s what we are trying to do.”

Damn yall still using this thread :eek2::eek2::eek2:

Just delete this thread so they have no choice
@Mask

Naw bro, I don’t deleted thread like that… they will convert one day
Fellas the guys left in this thread don't like me, that's the reason that they're here and that's 100% ok. Because we're not all friends and everyone doesn't like everyone which is cool.

I don't interact or know them well enough to dislike them, that should tell you all that you need to know about this "Beef".

Below is what I stated in the new basketball thread when questioned about this thread and the guys left:

Let's be honest, there's probably one or two guys over there that don't like me who are keeping that thread alive.

The difference between me and everyone else is that if I have beef with someone on here an it's a thread that I created.

I don't carry that beef into the thread and treat everyone equally.

Until they fuck up

Because the thread's not about me, it's about the topic and this topic happens to be NBA basketball. So if you'd like to invite them over, then they're more than welcome.

I can be an asshole, but I'm not an asshole.

That's what was posted, so they're more than welcome to join an add to the thread because everyone's welcome and it'd be appreciated.

If not cool.

Victor Wembanyama is already one of the greatest shot blockers the game has ever seen Legendary shot blockers have been known to have Hall of Fame careers.Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Tim Duncan...In fact, 9 of the top 11 shot blockers in NBA history are in the Hall of Fame.It might only be Year 3 of Wemby, but the block numbers are just at a rate we've never seen. Wemby's currently leading the league in blocks at 4.8 a game. The next player closest to him? Walker Kessler at 2.7.A near 2.0 lead in blocks isn't just the insane early stat that proves Wemby's dominance.Since he entered the league, there have only been 18 times when a player's had 8 or more blocks in a game.Wemby has 9 of those. He's also the only person to have 10 blocks in a game since 2021.And he's already done it twice. He still has a long way to go to break Olajuwon's all-time block record of 3,830.But at this rate (and assuming Wemby stays healthy), he could eclipse Olajuwon's record. The Dream had a career average of 3.1 blocks.Wemby's currently at 3.7 and is on pace to hit 600 career blocks by this year's All-Star break.Year 3 Wemby is just different

Statement from an NBPA spokesperson on Terry Rozier: "While we are in agreement with the league that upholding the integrity of the game is of the utmost importance, their decision to place Terry on leave without pay is counter to the presumption of innocence and inconsistent with the terms of our Collective Bargaining Agreement. We plan to challenge their decision via the proper channels.”

Not sure why the NBC waited so long to get the NBA back; also I think them doing a game on the east and another on the west makes so much sense; im not sure why the NFL doesnt do that for monday night...
NFL is already doing huge numbers but just imagine them putting it on a network like NBC and they would have triple their ratings which would be way more that the NBA.

I think goodell taking notice on how well the NBA is doing in ratings that he could strike a deal with NBC to put NFL games on there too.

If the NBA only played 20 games a year they would get the same ratings or more than the nfl

I guess but the NBA will never play less games which is why the numbers for the NFL will always be higher.
Imagine the NBA only played 20 games and it was only played on Tuesday and Wednesday; “ratings” and gambling would go thru the roof! I’m not a ratings guy because it’s a farce nowadays but if they had a schedule like that; it would be rated just as high or higher as the NFL…
