Reminded me of some funny memories w/ streetball in the late-90s. Knew some guys who were very good athletes, but the confidence just wasn't there. Not taking shots. Passing up easy points, etc. Essentially Ben Simmons 20+ years ago. Then you had the opposite. Occasionally you'd go to the courts with friends who were NOT great athletes. Guys who didn't play often. And they were hustling. Taking the shots when presented with them. Rebounding like a prime Rodman or Barkley. Getting putbacks, boxing out, etc. Really impressed by those mofos. They were being out-athleted, but working. That's all you can ask. Make the effort.
I guess so many players are complaining about the WNBA, but the WNBA lost money for decades.
