Kind of ridiculous for this 2016 statement to be recirculated 9 years later. Magic would say the same about Stockton but Curry has become a consensus top 15 player and arguable top 5 since then. Magic very likely would put a lot more respect on his name— he might still pick Thomas but he would not say “there’s no way.”

Yeah if he doesn't go to jail for an extended period of time he might at least be able to salvage his career overseas. He's not getting anymore NBA money though.
