That's it RIGHT THERE
No accountability.
I knew that'd be the response.
I hear "What about Chicago" every time anything happens and someone points to Draymond green
You know what the difference is?
When Draymond green does something, nobody says what about Dillon brooks or amen Thompson, they say wtf Draymond and I say WTF Draymond
Name a player Draymond has HURT.
You can't
And when Draymond does fuck shit I call him out on it I don't say .... What about???
Dillon brooks literally broke gp2 elbow undercutting him
Now Amen Thompson at worst dirty play ( I don't necessarily think he's dirty tho he does have a history) at best wtf is he doing he ain't trying to get no rebound lunging under the fuckin rim
It's hoe shit and they taking the identity of the hoe ass coach
I play nice and have played nice for over a decade but enough is enough
Play fucking basketball
Steph is being intentionally held fouled dove at knees pulled on drives
Literally last night he got his shorts pulled on a shot the announcer said and the foul.... When no call came he said oh nvm lol
Look beat us by playing basketball not by this bullshit
It ain't happening in any other series.
Let a team try to do this in any other matchup
That team is whistled and handled
I hope this inspires the team to go harder at the rockets who have no interest in actually hooping
So the "What about Chicago" stuff is a bit of a reach to me, you're talking about a guy playing basketball and the systemic oppression of black people and the adverse conditions they gave which greatly impact their way of living. I get the point trying to be made but it's a bit of a reach to me.
Accountability wise, every instance of Draymond acting up last night, be it with Amen when he ran him over or when he shoulder checked Dillon after he hit the shot or the other time with Dillon where he grabbed the back of his head falling out of bounds resulted in Rockets players being assessed a personal foul. So even when this nigga on some fuck shit IT STILL goes against us. So scratch that bro... Draymond get the what abouts because he's been on that bullshit FOR YEARS. This is his own doing and by all accounts chickens coming home to roost. He's no political prisoner or victim of his environment.
the stuff that Steph is dealing with, the being held, that's par for the course... you run off that many screens and the opposing team will always reach out and grab at you. But as far as diving at the knees, you mean this play:
Looks to me like Steph is applauding him for playing tough and laying out for the ball, realizing every possession is critical in the playoffs, and moving accordingly. Didn't look malicious at all and it didn't seem like Steph took it as such.
The "dirty play" of Amen on Jimmy, that's been addressed a dozen times already. One guy already posted the video slowed down showing exactly what happened, which was Steven Adams pushing Amen forward while he was not only off balance already but also with a leg behind Draymond's leg. So I'm guessing you wanted Amen to face plant and not attempt to brace his fall? Save Jimmy and fuck himself in the process? Cmon man you're better than that.
If you want accountability, then I can admit the game got chippy. I can admit some of those holds on Steph would have been called in the regular season BUT I'm also able to see that Steph sometimes jumps and pushes his waist backwards foul hunting like he did last night just before being super demonstrative in showing the refs his shorts were being pulled. You can see that CLEARLY and even with it not being a natural shooting motion THAT BASTARD STILL MADE THE SHOT!
It's going to be a dog fight. We're both gonna be pissed about calls that go against our team. But again, acting like Draymond is innocent is not gonna be tolerated. And acting like Steph is untouchable is also not gonna be tolerated. These niggas been running the league FOR YEARS and teams have tried just about everything to stop them. We're not the first team to hold Steph as he's coming off screens and we won't be the last one. We're not the first to face guard him, won't be the last. Not the first to play physical against them and won't be the last.
If you wanna get on some "beat us playing basketball" bullshit cool... get your boy in line first because like I said, every instance of him wildin out last night ended with 2 fouls on Dillon Brooks and 1 on Amen Thompson.
