}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ OKC Thunder NBA champs}

So OKC, Boston and Cleveland are the only contenders?:hmm:

Between Ant's mouth & Ja wearing a hoodie/face covering on the bench, I'm starting to think they're actively trying to NOT become the new face of the league.

Not sure why a modern day player would want to leave that kinda money on the table, but here we are :puzzled:

Bron guarded Naz Reid tonight. He finished with just 3 points on 1-10 shooting. If I would've told you at the beginning of the season the Lakers were gonna trade AD and make Bron the interior defender and get way better as a team defensively, I would not have believed it, but here we are.

Age 40 and leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, defense, and made 3's? He should be 1st team all NBA and defense this season. If he's not, we know why, so it don't matter anyway, it's still gon be part of the story.

I hope luka doesn’t get comfortable scoring in the low 20s because he got LeBron there and AR
Luka needs to get his ass in fucking game shape. He shooting like shit since hes been back because his legs are fucking gone by half. Thats another reason for his incessant bitching and moaning too. He does it to take a break on defense.

Just needed the threat of another player lol that's it

Jimmy was drunk tonight but he was on the court that's all that counts

Threat of another scorer, not player, c’mon man. Do you not realize you have a top 10 defensive player in the world on your team? Haven’t the Warriors been a top defensive team every time they won a title? Offense is not everything. :smh:

LeBron on being the face of the NBA: “A weird energy”

LeBron James all but rejected conversations about being the face of the league.

After posting a 33-point, 17-rebound double-double and leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a win, 111-102, over the Minnesota Timberwolvesin crypto.com Arena, the four-time NBA champion talked about responsibilities between the players and those covering the action.

“Why do you wanna be the face of the league when all the people that cover our game and talk about our game on a day to day basis shit on everybody? That responsibility is just weird,”the 40-year-old combo forward said during a media session following Thursday’s game.

“I have always taken that seriously and understood from the beginning what being a professional was all about and being a role model was all about. So, try to hold that with the most respect and honor,” he added, “This is a weird energy when it comes to that.”

“He probably said, ‘he finally made a shot,’”
Luka Doncic commented on the reaction of his father to a spectacular three-pointer, his only make from beyond the arc over nine attempts. Helping the Lakers jump to 36-21 in the 2024-25 Regular Season, the Slovenian sensation combined a 21-point, 13-rebound double-double with five assists. He played for nearly 36 minutes. In contrast, Ukrainian Alex Len stayed on the bench, and German Maxi Kleber (right foot surgery) was on the injury list.

“It’s a big challenge for me, just getting back into my rhythm, making those easier shots for me,” Doncic described his efforts to counter shooting woes, “I’m looking forward to it.”

The starting center of the Wolves, French Rudy Gobert (low back spasms), remained sidelined. Dutch Jesse Edwards suited up but did not play. However, Bosnian Luka Garza logged five minutes, tallying one point, one block, one steal, one assist, and one rebound.

Michael Jordan and his brand are frauds! It's not enough to prove he's nowhere near as good as Bron, that's obvious as fuck. But now his brand must be destroyed for cheating the game and attempting to rob us of the joy of watching the greatest NBA player of all time. By 2035, his shit is gonna be seen as a complete joke. "Smoke & mirrors" :smh:

“Last night in all-time rankings LeBron James passed Patrick Ewing in rebounds for No. 25 all-time.

Stephen Curry moved ahead of Patrick Ewing in scoring for No. 26 in NBA history.

Kyrie Irving tied with Rick Barry in scoring at No. 76.”

Mask he's right.

Steph scored 56 last night and it didn't even go viral. This is the only place people are talking about it. But Centel being suspended the night before DID go viral and had team accounts even chiming in. That's a problem. The Jordan and Kobe dickriding and constant smearing of today's players has taken the focus away from X's and O's and compelling story telling and shifted it completely to low vibrational trolling and parody jokes. It's stupid and intentional so faggots can stay nostalgic about the past and view it as a more "serious" time.

Why would any star try to be the face of that? What's to be gained? Tatum just told us he still doesn't feel whole or respected off a championship. And Ant wants no parts of it cuz he knows it's a set up to promote Mike and Kobe off his losses or struggles. I don't blame these young guys.

Nuggets gon have to break this team up man. Now that they can't beat the Lakers they serve no purpose. Jokic isn't even gonna get MVP now. Their run with this group is over.
Nuggets at any capacity will sweep the Lakers for the 3rd year in a row. It is a Playoff constant we can rely on.:shades:
You still worried about LeBron and his regular season stat packing....meaningless in the playoffs....11>6>5>4

Here goes the scapegoat of guys off the field effecting their play. LAWRENCE Taylor would bump a line and go play. These guys do a podcast for a hour two and it’s a distraction. Well only against the good teams because Knicks can beat average and below a average teams so it’s the podcast’s hurting them against the Celtics be for real.

So are you saying that Patrick Ewing had a bad day?

Use the Mask login instead old nigga!

Luka is now the face of the Lakers now....he got them winning(as he did last year with the Western champion Mavs)
It will be a quick transition for the lakers to run Lebron out of town.
Lebron had a good run in Miami.
But these laker led Lebron teams can stop getting swept in the first round.

1st round exits 3 years in a row :puke: :puke: :puke: ...Lakers front office going with the Euro.

BGOL ignoring my Michael Jordan is a fraud receipts is fine. I don't see nobody unapologetically promoting that coon no more, so mission accomplished. :shades:

This is where you sound stupid my friend.

You're fighting to recognize Draymond
I'm telling you Steph is the only player expected to lead a team playing 5 on 3 on offense and the only person that can create offense which is fucking stupid

Having just 1 person who can do that opens up the entire team and we can score
The magic are the 2nd best defensive team in the entire fucking NBA
They are 29-32 because they can't fucking score

Please have a seat

Because a team can no longer triple team one fucking player and stop the entire offense look at what has happened

Jesus Christ dude
