NBA is really a bad product right now. Way too many blowouts in the regular season. :smh: With expansion to Vegas and Seattle it's gonna be even worse.

Nah he ain't really play in the 2nd half and 9 assists shows he wasn't looking for his shot. The GOAT is the starting point guard right now.

If the Lakers had a better overall record they would've sat Bron and AD last night. They've already won the season series with the Suns (3-1). So I can tell they kinda took it light.

You say you don't post Lakers wins cuz I'll do it. But make sure to post the losses regardless. That's called being a LeBron hater.
When I was watching the game I thought lebron looked fine. I saw him scoring. I didn't realize that's all he put up. I noticed a lot of one on one ball when lebron was sitting smh. He has to score and facilitate on that bum team. Time to come back home

Steph scored 9 and 1 assist and you didn't post about it and seemed bothered I tagged you to discuss it. LeBron scored 10 and 9 assists and you found time. This is what we were discussing early this week about agendas and subtle hate.

I'm still waiting for accomplishments.
After I asked I looked up nuggets records thinking maybe Melo owns them. Nope, Alex English has most of them

Melo brought a resurgence of interest back to the Nuggets after they had been trash at the end of the 90s and early 2000s. He was an all star for them and their best player for 8 seasons even going to the WCF. Let's not pretend he did nothing out there. Giving another player his # says a lot about them.

It's weird though because relative parity is pretty high, right? There aren't any super great teams and only a handful of super terrible teams.

Was yesterday just an aberation? They have stats for everything so I wonder the average margin of victory this season as opposed to others.

I'm not sure this is a meaningful trend. If it is, I don't understand it.

OKC/Portland is a mismatch. But Celtics/Bucks, Knicks/Mavs... There's no reason to think of those as super lopsided match-ups.

Steph not the goat

Yea but he's light skinned and has white family members so you don't highlight when he plays bad. LeBron is the oldest player in the league and has played the most minutes in NBA history. If he has an off night you rush to post it like that's gonna make Michael Jordan seem better. Doesn't the agenda ever get old fam? LeBron scored 3 more points last night than anyone in their 21st season ever averaged. Gil literally just talked about the lack of grace being shown to Bron isn't related to bball on his show the other day.

I pulled quotes of you saying how impactful Steph was, can you admit now that isn't true? He's not very impactful which is why you don't have high expectations for his play?

They should at the very least have put a moratorium on anybody wearing that number.

Bad coaching is a part of this as well. There are too many head coaches in the league who just shouldn't be head coaches. No one plays defense anymore or rebounds either. Shit is sickening. The new rules make it harder to successfully defend as well.

Idk about lack of grace
He stunk against miami and it was quietly swept under the rug lol

It is lack of grace, he can't even have an off night (by his standards) in his 21st season without folks tryna make a spectacle. We've never seen that before for an older player. Steph is an older player and we see how you go out of your way not to speak on his obvious decline. What does LeBron have to do to get that kind of grace? I've posted several Wizards Jordan articles highlighting his shitty play and you haven't responded to not one. And that is your all time favorite player and who you have as the GOAT. Even he never played with Bron's expectations by your own actions. The whole let me just be loud when LeBron has an off night routine is transparent and played out. Post LeBrons statline this season and post Jimmy Butler's, I wanna see something.

Nobody is talking down on LeBron though
All i see is how great he's playing

Here you go-- You'll find better engagement here:

You only post about him when he loses, post him when he has success like you do rookie Wemby (who's done and won nothing) and we'll believe you respect and have grace for Bron. You can't fake it, it's either in you or it ain't.

On the flip side you never criticize anything the Heat do no matter if they lose or play bad, that's why it's hard to consider you a real fan of them. If you notice, all the other fans in this thread critique their teams players, coaching, personnel decisions, etc on some level at some point. All you do is praise EVERYTHING the Heat do and never say anything bad, which is kinda a giveaway you're not very invested in the team. If you were you wouldn't portray them as perfect all the time.

This. Made the playoffs every season when he was there. Him not having much playoff success had to do with the likes of Kobe and Tim Duncan mostly. Not all his fault, he needed a better team around him and when he did, he made the WCF….only to lose to Kobe and Pau.

Shit I was the first one to post that lol

I'm just saying

And of course Father Time's caught up, but he's still able to be out there and be effective.

He's not the same player athletically he was 5 or 10 years ago, and we shouldn't expect him to be.

I don't have much bad to say about the heat this year. they're doing good despite all the injuries.

Understand diehard fans don't think like this.

I look at you as a Miami guy that roots for the Heat but not a serious fan. We've seen you and Beatdownrecords give up on the Heat and become Warrior fans before. Ever since Butler came you pretty much lowered your expectations. You don't expect or demand the Heat win a championship and are happy with whatever results they have. That's more of a casual than a passionate fan, and that's OK, just keep it real.

Ironically when Bron was down there you posted about the losses just as much as the wins and actually attended games. You were way more engaged and invested in their actual performances. Now it just seems like whatever and you see all of this as a bonus. Just happy they are somewhat competitive. They lost in the Finals last year and it didn't even get you upset. Heat as a franchise has so much untapped potential but the fan base wants to follow through crowd instead of creating their own identity so it's just another small market team like the rest. :smh:

When LeBron was here I expected to win every game .
This is a different build
I do believe we will be back in the finals this year

Why do you stop short of thinking and saying the Heat will win it all? Why is just making it to the Finals after a Finals loss the goal? Lowering expectations so you can claim success for Spo and gang no matter what only goes so far.

I believe we can win if we're healthy

Man, don't let him bully you into delusion!

You can support a team without being a Kool-Aid drinker. (Or, in his case, a semen sipper.)

Tell him that, I've never even seen him acknowledge a Heat player having a bad game. Let him tell it they are perfect. Even you complain about Kerr. Jondoe isn't engaged with the Heat as much as he proclaims. That's just the team he halfway cheers for, his NBA fanhood is centered around trolling and cheering against LeBron. We've seen him stop repping the Heat before, we haven't seen him stop tryna lampoon LeBron in over a decade. He doesn't love this game like he loves football. He's really invested in how the Dolphins do.

Oh I do believe we can win.
Denver is the only team I'm scared of and they aren't the same as last year so...

The 2023 Heat were one of the weakest fluke conference champions in league history.

The only way you get back to the finals involves injuries or key players being out due to imprisonment, assassination or other such circumstances.
