I cringe every time Donnell caught a pass and turned around to run cuz he's a somersault and fumble waiting to happen. Tye is allergic to blocking too. Adams needs more touches. Perkins needs more touches at running back too.
Will Johnson would have helped, too. I dont know what the fuck happened to him. Jerry Reese desperately made major free agency moves to save his ass. Apparently, it worked, but left us with gaping holes on the Oline. Everyone knew this. He was asked about it constantly, but kept praising Jerry/Newhouse and insisting Flowers as the LT. Jerry has been effective, luckily Newhouse is out of the picture and maybe Flowers will get suspended or cut for "assaulting" a reporter after last nights debacle.

The front office has threatened Flowers with disciplinary actions. Hopefully, an 11 game suspension is warranted.
He already knows he's on the hot seat but sitting idle doesn't help his chances of surviving the season either. He needs to do everything possible to put this team in a better situation even if it means admitting to drafting busts.

Our LT needs to be the best pass protector on the offensive line, he's the worst.
Our C needs to be the best run blocker, he's the worst.
Couple this with Eli just looking terrible, it may be time to draft his replacement
This line gets zero push in the run game, it's amazing.. I've never a team this bad at run blocking.
I mean, I see the reasoning for it. The interior of the offensive line can't get any push.. so you run it up the gut, it goes for a loss.
But we don't have a FB or a TE worth a shit.. so a sweep is just as dumb a decision
It just puzzles me that the offense, which is the same as last year (save for fb & wr), is just flat out terrible this year.
