The west is tough fam. Your defense comment is debatable but whats not debatable is that the west has far superior teams and talent. And those teams have a tougher draw in the postseason. Eight of the top ten teams in the league this year were from the West. And when you consider that Indy padded their record playing loads of shit teams in their division (bucks, cavs, pistons) you realize even they don't belong in top ten in terms of strength of opponent and quality of wins. So of the top ten teams in the league, only Miami is in the east.

Westbrook has waaaaaay more heart than KD. He's the leader of that squad. KD has to work on his game if he wants to be a champion, and part of that is not hiding behind his teammate all the time.

Man don't even mention Indy I been telling ninjas bout them clowns since forever.. As for Miami they have a winning record against the west but yeah only the Heat even in the west is a top 5 team
None of this changes the fact that 8 of the top 10 teams are in the west. That isn't overrated. That's fact. Nor does it change the fact Indys division is trash. Also, Indy played OKC missing Westbrook and San Antonio resting players. I don't know whats the big deal about admitting the west has better teams.
Oh, and the champs don't come from the "east". They come from Miami. And im taking nothing away from them. My comment is about the east as a conference.

My gut feeling is that they will bring back Scott Brooks. I just think KD likes him and that will play a big factor.

This playoffs has shown one thing. Russell Westbrook fucks up sometimes but he puts pressure on opposing squads in ways that Durant fails to do sometimes. They need each other desperately and the idea that you get another PG to play next to Durant and OKC problems will be solved is just laughable
And lastly...OKC and its management are on the clock. We dont want to say it but the Thunder's window is closing. This could be the Penny-Shaq-Orlando situation again.

I like Reggie at the 1 and Westbrook at the 2.

They score so many points teams have to score at a pace to keep up which leads to shots earlier in the shot clock, quicker shots lead to bad shots and turnovers, etc. when the playoffs start and dudes start tightening up, the games slow down and the rotations tighten so there are less bums getting playing time.... Execution shows who really has great defense and OKC doesn't...

Anybody know what Battier's race is for sure?... I was arguing with someone the other day that was trying to tell me he was Black... He looks full CAC to me.
To be fair the Spurs play great team defense, however them going small often puts them in match up rotation problems... This is why I got on KD for taking all those difficult jump shots with a little 6'4 player guarding him..
If they go small vs the Heat they may be forced to go to a zone and play both Skinner and Duncan like they did last year.. This is the only way I see for them to go against a smaller more athletic Heat line up that has their big men shooting from the outside..
