Large used to be one of the ones who called out Westbrook. I just think he sees the flaws and weaknesses in Durants game and mentality. People throw Russy under the bus so they dont have to acknowledge that. They want to project Durant as being "proven" when hes really not outside of scoring. As MVP in his 7th season its too convenient for people to shit on.Westbrook when the buck should stop with him. People dont EXPECT Durant to win, long as Russ is his scapegoat.
The thing is, i say when westbrook is fucking up. I say it. I called westbrook out because i thought he was doing his own thing, and not listening to the coach. I thought he was out there shooting and being aggressive and not doing much other than that because it's what he wanted to do and brooks was trying to get him to pass the rock.
and then i found out it was the opposite. i found out it was brooks who was telling him to keep shooting, it was brooks who was telling him we need you to score. it was brooks who was telling him to do everything he's been doing. there's a reason he's playing that way.. and will continue to while brook is the coach and why jackson played that way and harden played that way.
i remember that same weak ass argument from a couple years ago saying harden was a passer and harden is this and that and had good defense they should get rid of westbrook.
and then you see what harden is doing in houston right? and that's not even to compare players it's to illustrate the COACHING. mchale is the same as brooks.
i said in a couple different posts yesterday that westbrook didn't have a good game in that 1st half and it was ignored....
but when he's playing excellent nobody is here.
when he brought them back in game 1 in the 3rd quarter i purposely didn't post.. and nobody said shit about it.
then the wheels fall off suddenly everyone isn't busy anymore and can chime in.
like ignoring the fact that kd was on the bench and westbrook was on the floor when they were hanging with the spurs... and westbrook was the one who cut the lead to 5 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter... that's not up for debate that actually happened.
k.d. gets no blame, was k.d. shooting the lights out yesterday? was he bricking long 3's and taking bad shots and turning the ball over and has he been getting roasted whenever they put him at the 4 i said he can't play but people insisted he goes and play it?
westbrook is just stealing shots from k.d. he's waving k.d. off (like jackson doesn't do it, like even fucking seffalosa doesn't do it whenever he feels)
poor k.d. stuck with westbrook, westbrook is holding him and the team back cause in the regular season when westbrook was out and brooks was playing lamb and pj3 and them they were a more balanced team.
soon as westbrook came back he went to brooks and said you better not play these motherfuckers ever again.
