i've never seen a point guard get in the paint as much and as freely as Parker in these past few years...
dude actually led the league in points in the paint one year.

skills wise there is no difference.

i posted his playoff stats in here a page back. he's killing parker in every single thing playing the game "the wrong way"

the fuck would he do if he was actually on the spurs and didn't have to score like he does now when the starting lineup is basically 3 on 5..?

what if him scoring points in the lane, pushing the ball to get to the rim and just picking his shots was perfectly ok, everyone else will get the assists?

Westbrook has more assists but he also has more turnover, more bad shots that create opposition fastbreaks and fouls on his team, he doesn't know how to run an offense, doesn't play off of teammates well. And he has a much lower basketball IQ. You cats confuse being a great athlete with a great player. Tony Parker is a better point guard. And Rondo overdribbles and cant shoot worth a fuck. I would NEVER take him over Parker in a pure pick em. Plus that weird muthafucka is a cancer. Ask Doc Rivers.

I stopped reading right here. The rest is excuse making. 8 to 3 wins. That's domination. Thats like saying Wilt scored more points but Russell got all the rings. Parkers resume shits on Paul. And when they play head to head he outplays the guy and makes him look bad. Period. Its easy to discount it as part of the Spurs dynasty but he is part of that Dynasty and is currently the most important part. Who currently has the most talented team and has for the last two years? Paul that's who. Yet Parker continues to outperform him where it counts- team wins and head to head performance.

Now with all of that being said did tony parker come into the nba knowing how to do this or was he coached and molded into the player he became using the talent he already had?

and has westbrook received such instruction from scott brooks at any point during his career?

that is my entire point.
