OKC is Westbrook's team(mentally). Period. It should be Durant's team. Brooks is gone after this season. If they don't lose here, they will lose. If this were 10 years ago, this would be the perfect Phil Jackson project. I don't know who will coach this situation correctly. Perhaps Westbook is too dominant a personality when compared to Durant(both on and off the court).

For years people talked about Lebron's missing mean streak. Where is Durant's????????

Rondo would stabilize the offense and set other player up making everybody a potential scorer, with Rondo they could use another catch and shoot shooter that can stretch the defense for both Westbrook and Durant.

He might need to work with Hakeem this summer.

I didn't say he can guard a four, I said no 4 can guard him.. I would bulk him up a few and play him at 4 the way the Heat does Bosh... They are both weak pussies, but they can both be an disruptive force vs your average PF..
But I did note that teams don't double up on him, they trap him often and make him pass, but they don't double up on him, and he doesn't make his teammates better..

Perkins is a banger, just remember how tough he was on the Celtics, year after year. Its just they played him the way he supposed to be played. I would have him start but coming off the bench vs specific centers , he is more than capable. He is not suited for OKC run and gun jump shooting offense.

KD was reduced to a jump shooter, what team is going to win with their go to guy shooting that many poor jump shots. It may not be his fault directly, because KD is doing what KD does, but how are you going to pin it on Westbrook when he is doing exactly what he does.
Folks here are scratching their heads wondering whats wrong with the team, but to me they are playing excactly the way they always play, only thing that style never fare well in playoff half court basketball.

He's never been a scorer, however like ever other big man , he needs to be fed, who on OKC is going to feed him, with their style of play? On a team with a proper half court set and decent passers he could averge a good 13pts per game. But what he brings is toughness and the ability to bang with the bigs.

Westbrook is a natural shooting guard and he plays like one. He needs a high volume of shots to get his numbers. And Brooks doesn't have the attitude to reign him.

As far as Garnett covering his deficiencies, if that were the case they would have won with Big Baby, with Garnett covering Baby's deficiencies..

he took shots in rhythm but most of his attempts came when you guys were up 20 and the rest of the thunder were standing around like it was over and he refused to let it be over.

his shots don't directly lead to more points anymore than all of kd's jumpers that have been bricking for 3 games now.

when he started on pick and roll wasn't shit yall could do about it, not nothing. that is what they can do to you every single game. gasol and randolph simply CANNOT defend the pick and roll if westbrook is handling the ball. just cannot. yall couldn't even stop reggie jackson when he was doing it.

that's just untrue. maybe 3, 4 years ago sure. now? he plays under control, especially when the others are going and the others are making their shots. he doesn't have a low basketball i.q. he has a need to not give up when the rest of the team is standing around. he isn't just jacking up 3's a million times like in past. sometimes the jumper is on sometimes it's not but most are pull up jumpers that have a higher percentage of going in and layups that he makes or misses and most times doesn't get a foul called where kd would be going to the line.

im not gonna let people try and play him for being aggressive while the thunder were playing like pussy's including K.D. and say oh he needs volumes.. NO he doesn't need volume, he is a point guard but you tell me how he is going to get a ton of assists off of people not cutting and broke jumpers? he's not.
