The Heat playing without Wade for 28 games STILL managed to have a winning record against the Western conference

With wins against every major playoff contender out there. In fact the games they lost were to the likes of Utah and Sacramento and Denver

The previous season they also had an impeccable record against the Western conference.

If they played in the West they would have no problems racking up wins.

You guys act like the West doesnt have soup cans out there as well

And if Kobe was 28 and if Pau and Steve Nash were healthy

Oh yeah, and if David Stern didn't veto the Chris Paul trade

The whole NBA plays down to their competition. That's sports in general. Only proof I need is how the Mavs got in their ass 3 years ago and how the Spurs got in their ass last year and they should've won as well. Heat aren't as dominant as y'all think. They have a much easier cakewalk in the East than in the West. The West don't fuck around.

If they are going to "play down to their competition" than how on earth does that equal a better record? The West is superior to the East but its still teams words than the Heat over here.

Yes they very well could. But they wasn't even the 1st seed in the damn EAST. So to assume they would is silly. There's no evidence of that. Just assumptions and hope lol. There is no proof you can whip out to say if they were in the West they'd be better than they were in the East who had the Pacers struggling like fuck and still grabbing that #1 seed.

All i'm saying is there's a BIG difference between playing the Blazers, Thunder, Mavs, Spurs,etc. 4 times as opposed to playing them twice a year. Its a luxury to be able to play the Celtics and 76ers 4 times a year. West don't get that luxury.

Man the Heat have coasted to either the finals or the Eastern conference Finals 4 years in a row now. Its ridiculous, mean while Western conference teams have to fight for their lives to make the finals, why you think the Spurs were so beat up last year in the finals.
