Just like they did in that other game where the gave Howard that foul then came back and said that it should have been called on Portland and Howard should have been shooting 2 free throws?

When Mo Williams knocks the ball away you see the official in the background TWICE on the BASELINE. Then when he takes the shot the SIDELINE official is coming back into the picture. The sideline official wasn't in the picture because he anticipated the fast break going the other way (that's an officiating no no, anticipating ANYTHING) and he has to get out the way of the play. That's why he's seen in the second part of that gif running back into position.

If we make the adjustments:
1.stop playing hero ball.
2.stop standing around watching harden and howard play offense.
3.Cut out some brain farts.
4.Move without the basketball, attack the rim.
5.don't let the refs steal a game from you.
6.DOUBLE TEAM LILLIARD BECAUSE PAT BEV has been getting roasted throughout the series.
7.harden needs to play better defense.

The Rockets could be up easily 3-1 this series but poor execution at the end of games have bit them in the ass. McHale is as confused as the players on what to do at the end of games.
If they want to have have any chance of making this a series again and winning (which I doubt), here's what they have to do;
DO NOT PLAY LIN IN THE 4th quarter or closing moments of the game.
Put Parsons on Mathews for the majority of the game.
Do more pick & rolls with Harden & Howard in the 4th to prevent mismatches, posting up Howard late in games, plays right into the Blazers hand.
Daniels need to take Lin's minutes, hes the best shooter right now and draws more attention from the Blazers.
The Rockets will probably win Wednesday but I don't see them winning 2 more games.
If they want to have have any chance of making this a series again and winning (which I doubt), here's what they have to do;

you do know that lin helped win game 3 for us.
lin kept us close in game 1 but you do know harden lost game 1 and 2 singlehandedly.
if you want to throw players under the bus i throw harden under there first.
See this is where you have to take the lesser of two evils. Who would you rather have on the court in the 4th if you could only choose one, Lin or Harden?
I'm not saying Harden doesn't deserve criticism but I trust him more in the 4th quarter than Lin. Lin is not knocking down clutch shots like Daniels and I cringe every time he dribbles because there's a 50/50 chance he'll get ripped or make a dum play.
All I'm saying is that I don't like it when McHale plays both Lin and Harden together to close out the games in the series, it's not working. I rather see Daniels, Beverly, and Harden as the 3 guard line up. I don't trust Lin in the 4th quarter or late in games.

Real talk Llano....McHale puts Lin in because he can kind of get away with him at the 2 and sometimes he ends up playing against the 3.....becaue Lin is not a short PG.....
but....
I agree in the clutch he is 50/50.....in game 3 he picked up and found Daniels....
in the past game he got the rebound....but he should have either called time out or something else.....
also...Lin is a good FT shooter so if the other team has to foul McHale benefits...
