Welp, the NFL Draft is this week.

Well I agree but that doesn't escape Carlisle was outcoaching Popovich and we were outplaying them.
To be honest.....this is more of a true view of these teams than those previous games. Spurs were playing like ass. I don't even think the Mavs were playing over their heads. Dirk didn't just show up to this series until the last game. Everyone been inconsistent. Not one player consistently playing well in this series for us.
Yea its been ass. Granted, Dirk ain't shit defensively and never was. But he can be average or decent at times. This nigga was ass all series long. That must be father time catching up to him. Diaw been lowkey working him at times.....

Yeah that's a start. Looking at the Spurs....Mavs have to work too hard to score. They need some easy scoring guys. A 5 and a 3 would do wonders. Nevermind the fact that they suck defensively too though. That's a problem in itself.
The real thing this team should be doing is trying to get younger but I guess that's not much of a option with no trade pieces and no draft picks....
Lillard vs. Parker and Lamarcus vs. Duncan.........gonna be a interesting series.

These game 7s went pretty much how I expected and the officiating was right in line with what I expected to see.
Durant gonna shoot hella free throws against the Clippers and they gonna advance to the WCF.
Spurs gonna get Portland out of there in 6....

My 2nd round predictions
SA in 7 vs. Portland.
- Lillard vs Parker; L.A. vs. Duncan = EPIC
- Evenly match teams, imo with the exception of Portland being younger.
- Experience is edging the Spurs over the Trailblazers in this series for me.
Clippers in 7 vs. OKC
- I like the Clippers inside game better.
- I do worry about CP trying to guard WB, although I do feel that trying to defend Curry is a much more difficult task than defending WB.
- KD should eat this series. Clippers D is ass.
- Overall team talent is edging my decision for the Clippers to win this series.
Pacers in 6 vs. Washington
- I know the Pacer struggled against the Hawks, but they found out something about themselves that they probably knew they didnt really have. They can play small ball when needed.
- Wizard have a nice 5 and I expect Wall to go ham along with Beals, but PG is going to be the best player in the series.
Heat in 7 vs. BK
- I'm actually choosing this on the strength of game 1 of this series. BK has to win one of the first 2 games in Miami to have a shot at all.
- BK is going to have to win at least two road games to have a shot.
- This series is going to be close, if BK stays healthy enough to make it a series.

Deng is the type of signing I expect. He's the type of guy that would come here. I'm not excited about it because I think we overpay for him.
Might as well go after Melo. They've been doing the pipedream thing thus far. I don't see why they should stop now. They've been going after guys who weren't coming here anyway. Keep it up. Still can't believe we got Calderon here......wish we could amnesty him. I'd feel different about him if we weren't paying him all that shit.

I think I read somewhere that Deng has two or three of the lowest PER's for an all star.
That, and he is probably going to miss 15-30 games every year.

In a perfect world in the CBA you could have like 4 or 5 dudes making like 8 mill a year who are good players but you got dudes getting 12 mill, 10 mill, even 14 mill a year that are overpaid
