Nets lost the last few games on purpose so they can face the heat in the second round since they swept them in the reg season... Nets were better off facing Chicago and then meet the pacers or hawks in the second round... They would have a better chance getting to the ecf lmaooo

If LeBron or Kobe were in KD's shoes right now, having won the MVP but then shooting horribly and leading his team to a 3-2 deficit against the #7 seed in the first round of the playoffs, people would be roasting him alive with the rest of the country and the national press. 1 of the three had a monster year in college but because he couldn't bench press 185lbs there were people out there wondering if he should be a high pick.
It's all media driven that's why they have the highest praise and toughest criticism. to the year in which k.d. is in, lebron and kobe were the most talked about players in the game loved and hated. k.d. has been neutral in support. people just say he's a "fine player"
he is reaching true superstar status now because here comes the true nature of the media. it's not a if this was lebron scenario. if k.d. had the hype around him before he stepped on the court, he would have had the scrutiny TOO. but that's why there aren't a million lebron's and it's hard to reach that level. he's getting there NOW because it's taken them so long to even notice him right or wrong.
