Why is Paul playing with that sleeve on? Is he hurt or is that his style? Can't that affect his shots and passes? Turn over waiting to happen right there.
plus CP3 has some injuries. there is no way he can keep up with Westbrook
I'm not sold completely on Nene or Gortot for the long haul. I'm wondering could they make a push for Anthony Davis?

Ariza is the X-factor for them, I been a Ariza fan ever since he was with the Lakers...he is a all-around player
I feel like guarding Curry is much more of a task than Westbrook.
CP can actually allow Westbrook to shoot the 3. Curry's offense is a different monster cause he'll bust 7+ threes a game if you give him enough space.
You can say the same about Westbrook on the other end. One of the main reasons I'm taking the Clippers is because Paul is gonna find a way to frustrate Westbrook, who tends to get overly aggressive at times.
No doubt about that. He's that type of player. I was just speaking for the long haul. The piece they will need to be a championship team.

Curry is a beast. Him and Klay Thompson can shoot the lights out and with David Lee and Bogut down bottom they are a problem.

I don't believe that cp3 is going to shoot like this every game. I'm just saying the stress of having to check a kat that can shoot all around the perimeter and 25 feet out is something he don't have to worry about this series. Allows him to focus a little more on his offense.
In my opinion, I would rather guard Westbrook than Curry.
hibbert is one of the last remaining 'big men' left in the nba... a big, slow, bill cartwright type motherfucker.
when teams go 'small' and speed the game-up, he's useless.
bball is about match-ups and the nba is about guard play right now; the big man dominating down on the block in an in/out game is old news.

It ain't all about shooting fam. CP3 is gonna make Westbrook work with his overall play making and putting him (Westbrook) in bad spots. Paul also has good enough defense in the half court to slow Westbrook down.
Oh and I trust CP3's jumper more than I trust Westbrook's. Paul is a pass first guard but don't act like dude won't or can't drop 40 points if needed.

The only thing that OKC got on the Clippers is Durant, Westbrook better defense and experience. That's it.
If OKC is going to beat this team, they are not going to do it trying to out scoring the Clippers running and gunning. Clippers have better shooters.
They are going to beat the Clippers playing defense and keeping them kats under 120 points.
yea i respect your opinion but i disagree.
it's way easier to guard curry because he isn't going to go by you. he's going to be crafty, he's going to go around screens and he's going to try to fake you out. but he isn't going to blow by you.
if a player can just go by you, your entire defense is fucked. someone else will always be open because you can't stay in front of your man.
so yes curry can pull up at any time and make contested shots
but if you let westbrook go by then it's a wrap
Agreed. Lack of adjustments will sink OKC. That's coaching. Lived through the same shit with the Cavs when they had those 60 win teams with Bron.
100% of the problem for OKC is on the defensive end. they are giving absolutely no effort into contesting or rebounding or defending. whenever they play defense like this anyone can score on them.. look at how memphis was looking like an old school aba team..

offense can win games, but you'll have off shooting nights. but no matter what night it is... you can play solid defense; it will keep you in games.
