That penalty was the correct call. He pulled his shirt and that's a foul according to the rules. Defenders know any contact and the striker will drop. That's why you see them with their hands by their sides. The croation keeper has to be the worst keeper ever. Those two goals he should have saved, and the penalty as well.

I'm a big Brazil fan but I can't ignore that bad call. You may need to watch it again. There was minimal contact and definitely not enough to bring down a 187 pound man. The ball got away from him after his poor first touch and he knew he wouldn't reach it for a shot so he decided to dive, which was a veteran move.
I thought the keeper should have saved the penalty but I don't blame him that much for the 2 open play goals. Neymar's was a very well placed shot and Oscar's toe poke was also well placed and probably caught the keeper off guard as toe poke's usually do. I sure as hell didn't expect him to shoot it at that moment.
that was a bad call point blank. its a physical game how can there not be contact? fred flopped it is what it is.
That's never a penalty anywhere on earth. Why the ref felt it was, is something only he could explain. When you go through the scope of the match, there were far greater challenges that weren't blown.

If you're talking about the second goal that was called offsides, watch no 18 for Cameroon on the far left post. Because of him standing there, the two Mexico players couldn't be offsides.
