~--~Official 2012 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread~--~

He plays SF. He's talented as hell but they need a big man who can rebound and play defense.

Festus Ezeli might be the best big man available when Miami drafts, and his ability to use length on defense combined with a good feel for paint scoring would be welcomed by the Heat -- if he improves his hands. Considering his youth and Miami's likely focus of getting him lots of reps at catching the ball on seals, slips and dives, I'd expect big improvement in that area for him.

Positives
  • Great size, long arms
  • Excellent shot-blocker
  • Good offensive rebounder
  • Quick for a big man
  • Emerging offensive game
  • Runs the floor well for a big man

Negatives
  • Lacks basketball IQ
  • Needs to improve post moves
  • Can be passive at times

The NBA Facebook page is posting pictures of the drafted players and I'm reading the comments and all of them are a bunch of hoes talking bout the players how these ninjas look sexy and thats they baby and all type of hoes shit :smh: that's why I don't take these hoes serious when they talking bout being football and basketball fans cause they don't know shit. All they want is them ninjas to buss in they face or trick on them :smh:

:hmm:

WHO THE FUCK IS EVAN FOURNIER????????????

You got Sullinger, Perry Jones, Fab Melo, Marquise Teague, John Jenkins, and others on the board and yo ass go overseas with the pick?

I'm out.:smh:

You have to pay all of them, though.

Fournier probably stays in Europe for a few more years. Saves caps space.

Heat are gonna take a wing.

I think the fact that they saw how much better they played going small with Bosh at the 5 and Lebron/Battier at the 4, and they probably see more value at the wing.

Is it really worth drafting another Dex Pittman type of stiff just to say you drafted a big man?

Look out for Jeff Taylor if he is still there at 27.

nah he's better than bi baby...way better

but boston needed to get swing men with these 2 picks
I hate Big Baby's game but i would take him over Sullinger. Sully is gonna have to reinvent himself. Baby can atleast use his wide body to his advantage and score inside. Sully wont be able to do that. He's gonna have to turn himself into a Marcus Fizer type 3/4 guy.
