~--~Official 2012 NBA Draft/Offseason Thread~--~

weak as in skills...i wasn't talking about physical strength

and you could defend it...let him shoot. he's streaky not consistent... towards the end of the season they just let him shoot and he struggled

Rivers has plenty of offensive skills, specially his footwork and his first step, he was not consistent because of poor shot selection, and he will need to pick up his defensive effort, he has a big upside he has a stroke, is athletic, explosive first step, just needs to work on D, and shot selection

all of things which can be improved upon

The Celtics are expected to pursue a sign-and-trade for O.J. Mayo, according to sources.

Boston will be willing to offer Brandon Bass to the Grizzlies in exchange. Bass opted out of his deal and will be a free agent

Nah I want the Bulls to get him, so we can use our pick to get Orlando Johnson or Jenkins

Huh what happened??

They were mentioning why the Knicks didn't have this year's 1rst round pick. They brought up the trade that netted the Knicks T-Mac and Sergio Rodriguez, while the Rockets got Jordan Hill, the Knicks 1rst rounder this year, Kevin Martin and others, and that sent Carl Landry to the Kings.

RIght when I thought the Sixers and new ownership were headed in the right direction... The Ghost of Billy King shows up and slaps me back to reality... smh...

if they trade Andre then ok. but I dont understand if they keep him. another 6'6" to 6'8" who needs the ball and cant shoot.

Rivers and Jack athletic.... :smh:

Gordon is an okay athlete but he is no Wade (even at 30), Rose or Westbrook.
Jack and Rivers are good athletes and Gordon is a stud athlete. Nobody is like Westbrook but Gordon near or on par with Rose and a superior athlete than Wade bro.

On another note, i see the sixers added yet another swing guy with marginal handle and a suspect shot.

He must hasn't seen Gordon play :smh:

Perry Jones has a non existent motor. He's solar power on a rainy day.

Didn't know they were drafting boats.
Perry Jones will be a steal, he will go low in the draft and will be better all those other drafted ahead of him - I know why he went to Baylor, but h should have played cball elsewhere

read my post when he got picked

How is it that somebody continually slips to Denver.

Zeller to the Rockets if the Mavs don't take him. I'd say Terrence Jones to the Mavs.

Makes no sense at all, unless they are looking to trade Iggy or package Young, they have a quarter of their roster filled up with the same damn player... Zeller still on the board, T Jones, etc... I can't even begin to scratch my head trying to figure this shit out... And I should be happy because I am St. Johns Alum but fuck this selection... AT 15 no less!?!?! Dude would have been there for them later...

The same thing was said about Bosh in college too... NOW, I'm not saying he's gonna as good as Bosh... but... The kid is NO BUM... plus, like one of the announcer said, part of that rap has to do with the system at Baylor.... They didn't post him up NEARLY ENOUGH as they should have... In any event, we''ll see what happens...

***UPDATE***
They say there's an issue with Perry's knee... :smh:

Tyler will be a solid pick

His brother will be top five, and they're close to the same player

Gery Woelfel ‏@GeryWoelfel

Howard to the Lakers, with Bynum going to the Magic, still being discussed.

who r u talking about

Nobody in particular but Perry Jones, Terrence Jones, and Sullinger are all guys that guys who are still on the board that were expected at some point to go alot higher. And at least one of them will be available when the Nuggets pick. Last year Fareid and Jordan Hamilton fell to them. Lawson dropped and they made a deal for his draft rights.
