The evolution of the NBA draft is pathetic!
I was sitting and watching some of the drafts of the past and just smdh. The new era of NBA drafts are just full of underdeveloped basketball players that are poor and just hungry for money. You always have a few gems in there...but most of these guys really aint NBA material. Keep it real!
I know that may rub some folks the wrong way.....but the truth is the truth. In the future the NBA will be full of mediocrity. I like watching good basketball....hence Im not gonna push that to the side just to see some guys that really dont respect the game make them some money.
The thirst for fame and money will overshadow the love of the game. Or maybe it already has.

hell thats why the mid majors are competitive in the ncaa tournament now
back when kids played 3 or 4 years of ball, mid majors were wack
that's one of the reasons why Stern wanted to have college players have to wait longer than one season before declaring pro

Simien was drafted in the late 20's, Collison has been solid, Julian Wright was drafted to be a SF not a PF and I expected Gooden to be better. That said he's still averaged 12 and 8 for his career. As for being a bust the guy picked with the next pick was a bust, Nikoloz Tskitishvili.

They need to either make it straight to the league or you stay in school for three or four years. The college game is really suffering and it's top heavy. Kentucky wasn't that great this year, they just seemed great because of the competition. The reason mid majors have become so competitive is because they're the ones with players who actually stay all four years.
