I don't think anyone will dispute that the Spurs are not a better team than NY. I didn't see the game but what I expected to happen Sunday happened tonight. Good game either way.

I'm actually satisfied in how they played. They kept the game close as long as they could. Last year's B squad was getting rolled by Washington around this time near the end of the regular season. 34 pt blow out. Put that into perspective.

. I looked at Melo's stat line in the 3 qtr and he had like 40+ pts and a total of 1 assist with 1 rebound. That ain't gonna cut it in the playoffs.

Yep. After 2 mo dubs, they can essentially sit the rest of the stars until the post season starts.

Say what you want about Spo, but he's done a much better job this season of getting the reserves and role players big minutes the last 3 weeks of the season. It'll be to their benefit come playoff time.

I think it's part of tha growth of being a top tier coach.
Coach Pop maybe helped by leaving his starters home, coached the subs up and nearly won.
