The Heat = LBJ. Without LBJ the Heat wouldnt even be the topic of any NBA discussion right about now.
So...the real question is who did the Bulls battle in the Finals that had a player that could battle with LBJ? Size wise...Barkley and Malone couldve banged with him in the paint. Elbows/flagrant fouls and all. That couldve forced LBJ to shoot more jumpers. But LBJ is fast. So MAYBE he still wouldvel had an edge.
So now i gotta lean more on basketball IQ...and if you look at the basketball iq's of the teams back then...theres really no comparison to most of the teams today. LBJ wouldve been able to do his thang..but the rest of the team is vulnerable. That alone wouldve put them at a disadvantage if they went up against the teams from the 80's and 90's.
The teams from the MJ and Magic eras had to figure shit out. MJ had to figure out how to get past the Pistons.....Magic had to figure out how to get past Bird...etc etc. Who has the Heat had to figure out beside the aging Celtics?
Who has LBJ been tested by since he's been in the NBA?
Im not trying to say LBJ is shit player..but I am saying he aint all that. Mainly because he hasnt been in a real battle, hence I have nothing to go off of to label him a great player.
I call D Rose a great player because Ive seen him go up against people that are better, bigger and stronger than him..yet he still balled hard and put up good numbers. But LBJ...
ok im done now...Ive spent too much time in this thread. Vape time!!!!
BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!
