I'm telling y'all, this is some WWE shit. Obama and Wright are so-called enemies now (as far as the media is concerned, Obama still didn't completely denounce the MAN, only a few statements). Wright gets to fight back against the media and Obama gets his distance. This was actually played as well as it could be played and it completely FUCKS the GOP in the fall.

They are going to hit him with you were in this man's church for 20 years and you did not know he was like this, you are lying. After 20 years listen to someone you know what and how they think. You know exacty what they are going to say before they say it. They knew this was their (media, etc.) ACE in the whole when they needed it. Wright is a very smart man but he has never dealt with the media. They had to know that he do this. They have character profiles on everyone. They did not think he was going to make strides that he has thus far. This is their game and they know how to play it and they always play to win. Obama's camp had to know this may be an issue. When white folks look ate other white folks who have either money, political power, or a mix of both, they study their game plan and try to repeat. This is the same for Jews, Asians and any other race or minority.
Black folks are different. We hold inherently negative things in a higher light and shed tangible things for very subjective honors.
Things like street cred, keeping it real, keeping it hood, street gully are very subjective worths that unfortunately a lot of black folk buy into.

I don't know if it is that deep. I don't know if they planned this shit together, but it benefits Obama to just go ahead and let Wright define himself and not allow the media to define him. Wright's words got to VOTERS (fuck the media) and anybody with a brain got what he was saying. That NAACP engagement was not some spur of the moment shit, so the Wright shit was hitting the fan this weekend regardless. Wright obviously was playing ball because he kept his mouth shut and canceled several speaking engagements since this shit jumped off. Wright didn't need Obama to defend him, but I'm sure as hell it was KILLING him to not be able to defend himself.
What happened this weekend allowed him to tell the media to kiss his ass and it also put distance between him and Obama, so it helped both of them in the long run. How many times does it have to be made clear that Wright was mindin his own bizness when these MSM clowns came in and started sucker punchin him OVEr and OVer and OVEr and OVer again mayne? Wright was takin dat beating without sayin shit for close to 6 months str8. that NAACP dinner was scheduled long before any of this. That press conference shit was alos pre-scheduled. This was an attack by proxy. The proxy was Wright. He fell hook, line and sinker for it. This could have been easily squashed, but then Wright goes on his crusade and proselytizing which is exactly what was wanted. Now, we are focused on some bullshit issues regarding this election instead of things that matter most. Wright needs to be thrown under the bus because it is obvious that he isn't as prophetic as he purports to be.

And speak of all the work he did to help the troops and all the works he has done to help his community. All the work he has done for this country. That would have solved his anti-american problems.
As for being a racist, all he had to do was show his countless work with other churches and other races. Point out his work with the Jewish, Muslim and Catholic churches and his work with all the races. He has great support from many people, in and outside the African American community.
