All in all no one in America can speak on the ousted Libyan leader unless you actually lived under his rule or visited Libya within the last few months.

In Libya, have y'all noticed that every rebel is carrying brand new rifles? I never saw so many new AKs in my life... guns and ammo are expensive -so is training, this isn't a popular rebellion, I haven't seen one home made weapon - what was the last revolt you saw that every revolutionary had brand new assault rifles?

Propaganda - there were left over soldiers from both sides of the french indian war, the officers were the first to be recruited and hired, most of the militias were converted to standing army and received promises of payment plus the spoils of looting.

bullshit -compare pictures of the Libyan army and the rebels, the rebels' guns are brand new with wooden stocks and ergonomic modifications, the soldiers were carrying older AKs, some with metal folding stocks.... pay attention to the details... Libya had a legit army with trained soldiers and officers, even with air support these "rebels" had no chance until NATO ground forces arrived.

A popular revolt is messy and fast, and the rebels dont carry uniform weapons... Usually a mob mentality, if this was a real revolution, Tripoli would have fallen since February or March.
