I understand where you're coming from. I do.
However, the problem I see with tax free, is that it presumes that Black people are suffering due to a over-taxation.
That is not the case when the avg Black (non BGOL) household makes like $25-30k a year, or a low number (can't remember exact amounts).

It's gotta be cash.
No community reinvestment(it'll go to white businesses.
No free education.
No white apologies.
No day reconciliation.

Reparation movement would be much more successful had they played chess and focused on Jim Crow(so many people were still alive) as the lead. Example. In a recent special, Chris Rock talked about how his mother had to go to the vet for medical care.

So many people could recount terrible stories under Jim Crow. Kills all the "Who gets the money?" "How do we prove who is related?" "But they are dead, get over it." "My people never owned slaves"(but they did benefit from Jim Crow).

I've said a million times anybody living through the Jim Crow should be a lock for reparations.
