Why the fuck did he agree to go to that church for that forum tonight? I'm grudgingly having to admit that McCain got him on this one.

Bloodseed ya know what, ..shut the fuck up man!

i mean really, ...go cheer yaself up already. damn.

He did alright man. McCain has not been the republican candidate of choice amongst the evangelicals...a constituency that usually is a lock for the Repubs... I think that Obama made a nice pitch to that group tonight

That Komodo dragon looking motherfucker is handing Obama a beating tonight.

Not really man. He naturally aligns with the crowd in terms politics.. 95 percent of that crowd is probably card-carrying GOP. The only thing Obama wanted to do tonight is get the message out to a lot of undecided evangelicals that are undecided and unsettled about the GOP because of the lack of real "conservatism",etc that Obama has a lot more in common with them than they think and that he is a man of "faith.

I think McCain is doing a decent job of countering that. Those "evangelicals" are worse than the general set of knuckledragging rednecks that make up a large part of their group. They weren't gonna vote for a black man anyways. These are some of the most assbackwards group of people in the country and they're responsible for spawning bush.
Fuck 'em all.
McCain came out of this one looking good--even though he's just giving his stump speech. The media is prolly gonna spin this as a "comeback" for McCain.
I should've watched the Olympics instead of this shit.

He did fine....he didn't say anything to hurt himself.

Obama did pretty well as he gave intelligent responses to the answers. McCain is just giving stump speeches and is telling war stories.

McCain did much better than I expected...he actually came off at times like he has a sense of humor

Those evangelicals man have been making support groups for Obama...seriously man... They are not in love with McCain like they were with Bush...Bush had the evangelicals on fucking lock...

If you have been watching that Pastor just set Obama up, this man said that McCain was somewhere where he couldn't hear the questions but it seems to me McCain was answering the questions before they were asked..... WHAT I AM SAYING IS THIS BASTARD GOT A COPY OF THE QUESTIONS BEFORE THIS EVENT AND THAT WHITE ASS NO GOOD PREACHER HELPED HIM GET IT. SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT THIS SHIT WAS SETUP

I think that was my problem. I expected him to come off as a babbling idiot. He actually sounds like he has a good command of the facts and he's doing damn well with a friendly audience.

Almost a shockingly good grasp of the facts like he knew what the questions were.. I've never seen him this good with non-scripted questions...

Do us all a favor and Ban bloodseed, it would be an early christmas gift to bgol

You aint lyin about that one. The Clintons definitely deboed their way into the convention.
And she wins what? She gets her moment, and I do mean moment, of glory and Obama get the nomination. Plus he'll pull many of those disaffected Hillary backers by letting her have the spotlight, albeit ever so briefly. Damn some of you guys would make horrible politicians. Good intentions, bad tactics. Obama knows what he's doing. Bet it.
:hmm:

Obama was cautious and dull in his delivery. I think he did himself a disservice tonight. If he wants to court some evangelicals, he should stay away from answering questions about his position on abortion, marriage, and other issues. John simply look presidential.

And you Bloodstool are such a fudge packin, pickle smootching, doo-doo chaser.

:(
Yeah. McCain gave the impression that he knew what he was talking about even though he was full of shit. Anyway, maybe Obama will announce his VP on Monday

You know they're gonna be comparing and contrasting the two of them. Both did well but McCain did better.

It's a game if expectations.

The perception is a little skewed. The reason they may say he did better because people expected John McCain to bomb in this environment and he did a lot better than many expected. It's not like his answers were stellar or intellectual, it's just he didn't fuck up. So for that I think pundits and commentators will give him the edge because no one expected him to not stumble.

What the fuck is you smokin? McCain didn't expound on none of the difficult questions, he answered them in a dismissive way. He talked of his stories with people which was an absolute lie. McCain ain't believe 99% of the shit he said.

He is taking that "My Friends" shit from Ronald Reagan I mean really it was like North Carolina (Obama) coming on to Duke's court (McCain)
