It seems like no news regarding Busta Rhymes as of last is good news. Nearly one year after Israel Ramirez was gunned down while protecting Rhymes, his family is speaking out against the rapper.
In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, the family of Ramirez accuse Rhymes of lying to them about cooperating with authorities even though he promised them he would.
“We really don’t want anything to do with that man,” Ramirez’s sister, Sonia Rodriguez, told the Daily News. “He could stop breathing tomorrow, and I wouldn’t care. Whatever happens to Busta Rhymes is not going to bring back my brother.”
Ramirez was shot during an altercation on the set of Busta Rhyme’s “Touch It Remix” video. According to authorities, the star studded video shoot was interrupted when an argument broke out between G Unit’s Tony Yayo and producer Swizz Beats. Ramirez was shot once in the chest after a gun man fired 8 shots into the crowd.
“He’s not talking,” a police source told the Daily News. “He doesn’t want to lose money by getting the reputation for talking to cops, so a killer remains free.”
“If you cared so much and you loved him so much as a friend and not just as a bodyguard, what would be the problem with clearing your heart and your conscience?” said Stephanie Hires, the mother of Ramirez’s 6-year-old son, adding that Rhymes has provided “nothing, nada, zilch” in the way of financial support for her son, Stiles.
According to the Daily News, Busta is, however, supporting Ramirez’s widow, Amelin Fernandez, who’s raising their 3-year-old son, Aaron.

True indeed sir. He wanted to become more of a "street" dude as opposed to just being what he was in the past, a good rapper/performer. When you look to become something like a thug, you will attract those circumstances that real Thugs have to deal with on a daily basis. None of busta's peer group (common, Q-tip, etc) from the earlier days, have to really deal with the street nonsense as they dont project that sort of image. When busta posed for that picture in xxl years ago, in a jail cell posing with the state greens(prison attire), I knew son was trying to solidify a "street" persona.

Some things I don't understand:
1. Does Busta have the missing trump card to bring the killer to justice?
2.It was a star-studded set for the video. How many more witnesses were there?
3. If Busta testifies, wouldn't he and his family become a target?
4. Busta is supporting Israel's widow and their son. Why is the next heffer opening her mouth and making threats to Busta like if she and his bodyguard were together?
At the end of the day, we listened to his music, we don't know the man.

My thoughts exactly. If you take the no snitching route because your going to handle shit yourself, that's cool. But if your just going to sit around and do nothing then you might as well help out somebody who's going to do something. If you don't do any of that stuff then all your doing it aiding the killer.
Protecting a man that killed one of your boys is a killable offense on the streets. Busta's lucky that he ain't been put in the grave yet.
