NYPD Rookie Gives her Lieutenant lap dance during Christmas party for the officers.

NYPDCop Who Gave Lt. Lap Dance At Xmas Party ...EMBARRASSED, TEARFUL, APOLOGETIC

TMZ.com
The NYPD rookie who was caught on video giving a lap dance to a married lieutenant at a holiday party is super emotional, apologizing to the lieutenant's wife and also saying if she were a man who did something similar it wouldn't be nearly as big a deal.
Vera Mekuli tells TMZ ... she hasn't spoken to the lieutenant since the party and hasn't been comfortable showing up at her precinct. She says her fellow officers at the station have been pretty understanding, allowing her to work from home. She wants to eventually return to the station house and then go back to duty on the streets.

The dance went down last week in a bar in Yonkers. The 26-year-old had only had worked at the 44th Precinct for 4 months before the incident. She says she had no idea the lieutenant was hitched and even apologized to him for the position he's now in.
Vera says she's often the life of the party and believes she can be 2 different people -- buttoned up at work and loads of fun off duty. She says she did the lap dance as a dare as the party was winding down.
She tells us she's so embarrassed she hasn't left her house since the video surfaced. Really sad, because she's really shaken to her core over this ... and for her, it was just a fun moment at a Christmas party.
Neither Vera nor the Lt. are facing any disciplinary charges.

Baseball has a crazy big schedule. I hope sis gets ALL THE BREAD. That's a hell of a lot of raping. That's fucked up.
That 44th precinct is wild as hell.

A retired NYPD cop assigned to the cushy Yankee Stadium detail says her captain raped her “nearly every game day” for a year at the ballpark, according to a new lawsuit.
Gillian Roberts says that Capt. Jeffrey Brienza, her boss at the 44th Precinct, even changed her schedule to make sure he would have more time with her, her suit filed in Bronx Supreme Court said.
When she denied his advances or tried to avoid him, Brienza turned hostile, leveraging his power as her boss to give her undesirable posts and showing open hostility, according to the complaint.
The situation turned so grave, the former cop says, she “felt that she was no longer there to perform the duties of a police officer, but to provide unconsented sex to the Captain.”

Roberts, who had been a cop since 1998, is seeking $35 million in damages.

Brienza is now stationed at the 25th Precinct, according to the suit and online databases.
Roberts worked as an officer in Long Island City and Queens for more than 20 years before she transferred to the Yankee Stadium detail in March 2020. At her new and more desirable assignment, Brienza “almost immediately” began to show her preferential treatment and was “overly attentive,” the suit says.
Roberts, a black woman, was uncomfortable with the dynamic and felt “trapped” but felt she had no recourse, according to court papers.

“Brienza purposefully and with premeditation manipulated Ms. Roberts for the purpose of getting her to believe that he was there for her, and tactfully worked on gaining her trust,” her lawyers say.
Brienza allegedly isolated her from other officers, took full control of her schedule and made Roberts his personal driver, which she claims was both unusual and unprecedented.
The first alleged assault took place at the end of a shift in June 2020, when Brienza went into the women’s restroom while Roberts was using it, and forced her to have unprotected oral and vaginal sex, Roberts alleges. After she yelled “No!,” Brienza allegedly yelled “Yes!,” placing his hands around her neck and ejaculating inside of her, the filing says.

After the first assault, Brienza “became even more possessive,” she alleges, and continued to rape her “nearly every game day” and “most non-game days when they were on duty at the same time when he would arrange for them to be alone.” If she spoke out, Brienza threatened to ruin her career.
The complaint also claims that Brienza commanded Roberts to stop at specific locations when driving home, where he would meet her, get in her vehicle and orally rape her.
Roberts also says the other officers on the elite detail turned on her, calling her the “Captain’s girl,” which made her feel like she couldn’t count on other cops to defend her if a dangerous situation arose.
In September 2021, Roberts reached out to the Internal Affairs Bureau about the alleged abuse, which launched an investigation. She then took an early retirement from the force on Nov. 30, 2021, even though she would have liked to stay on the job longer.

“Before she worked at the Stadium Detail putting on her uniform was the best moment of Plaintiff’s day, as she was proud that as an officer she was able to help a lot of people,” the complaint says, emphasizing that the alleged serial rapes caused her severe mental distress, harmed her physically and destroyed her career.
A spokesperson for the city’s Law Department said it will review the complaint when it’s served.
“The incident is under internal review,” said police spokesman Sgt. Edward Riley.
Lawyers for Roberts did not return a request for comment and The Post was unable to reach Brienza by phone Wednesday.

The NYPD rookie who was caught on tape giving her lieutenant a raunchy lap dance has been suspended without pay for launching into a loud tirade at New Jersey state troopers over a relative’s drunk driving arrest.
The latest blemish during Vera Mekuli’s law-enforcement career occurred May 8, after she showed up at state police barracks in Totowa, NJ, in her “bare feet” and smelling like booze, according to an internal NYPD report, dated Friday, outlining her suspension.
She then began loudly demanding answers as to why her brother-in-law had just been arrested by state troopers for driving while intoxicated.
Mekuli, 27, identified herself as an NYPD officer and insisted on speaking with one of the troopers involved in the arrest.

After a staff sergeant calmly told her he had “procedures to follow” — and that the troopers would not be made available — Mekuli became irate and “demanded to speak with a lieutenant,” the report says.
The rookie cop, who joined the force in February 2021, then began recording the staff sergeant with her smart phone and quipped, “you guys are talking out of your ass; none of this was done correctly.”

The troopers asked if anyone in Mekuli’s party wanted to file a complaint, but nobody did. They did report the incident to the New Jersey State Police Office of Professional Standards, which reviewed the case and found the troopers followed proper procedures.
However, the NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau was notified of Mekuli’s alleged misconduct and opened its own investigation, relying heavily on troopers’ body-worn camera footage, says the report.
An NYPD spokesperson confirmed the cop was suspended without pay but declined to say how long.
Mekuli could not immediately be reached for comment Saturday.

Mekuli made headlines in December when she caught on camera grinding on top of then-44th Precinct Lt. Nick McGarry in the Yonkers bar during a holiday bash.
Days later, she apologized to her boss and his wife — but insisted the video wouldn’t have gone viral “had it been a man doing it.”
“I feel like just because, mainly — I’m a female, dressed the way I was, being a rookie — things were different,” Mekuli told TMZ. “Had it been a man doing it, I feel like it would have been more of a joking matter and it would have stayed in-house versus go public the way it did with me.”
Mekuli also claimed she “had no knowledge” that her superior was married and is “truly sorry” for the consequences of the lap dance, which prompted police brass to reassign McGarry from the Bronx precinct to subway patrol.

If these were Black people they'd be flipping burgers by now. Don't give me no shit about it being off the job - NYPD is ALWAYS on the job. And there is a part of their oath that says they will behave with decorum on and off the job.
