<p>43-year old <strong>Eric Garner</strong> was a married father of six with two grandchildren. He died Thursday, July 17, after being put in a chokehold and held down by at least five NYPD officers.</p>

<p>According to the <a sl-processed="1" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/staten-island-man-dies-puts-choke-hold-article-1.1871486" target="_blank">New York Daily News</a>, cops approached Garner after they say he was seen selling untaxed cigarettes on a Staten Island street. Garner denied the accusation and was backed up by witness <strong>Ramsey Orta</strong>, who filmed the incident.</p>

<blockquote><p>“I didn’t do sh*t!” Garner told the officers from the 120th Precinct when they approached him. “I was just minding my own business. Every time you see me you want to mess with me. I’m tired of it. It stops today!”</p>

<p>Orta says Garner had just broken up a fight between three men prior to police arriving on the scene and was not selling cigarettes.</p>

<blockquote><p><span>“They jumped him and they were choking him. He was foaming at the mouth,” Orta told The News. “And that’s it, he was done. The cops were saying, ‘No, he’s OK, he’s OK.” He wasn’t OK.”</span></p>

<p>Cops soon swarmed Garner, putting him in a choke hold and forcing him to the ground. The 400-pound man tells them "I can't breathe" nine times. He was not armed at the time.</p>

<p>Garner later died at the hospital. His wife, <strong>Esaw</strong>, told the New York Daily News that the NYPD killed her husband for no reason.</p>

Police officers attempted to arrest Garner last week in Staten Island on suspicion that he was selling untaxed cigarettes, or "loosies." Garner resisted, claiming that he had done nothing wrong. The officers then subdued him violently, with one of them, Daniel Pantaleo, placing Garner on a chokehold. Garner, 43-years-old, stopped breathing and died.

A bystander caught the botched arrest on video. The short clip shows Garner, who reportedly suffered from asthma and a variety of other physical ailments, repeatedly saying, "I can't breathe."

Watching all the vids, EMS did NOTHING when they arrived, when the White EMS chick asked "Are you OK?" you are taught in CPR class that if the patient doesn't respond, you IMMEDIATELY START CPR,
THIS WAS NOT DONE, they are shown simply placing him on the gurney and rolling him away with absolutely NO SENSE OF URGENCY!!!:angry:

They said he was breathing...but unresponsive is a compromised airway requiring immediate intubation......

in the least oxygen should have been administered...

but they don t think we re normal human beings...they think we don t feel pain (like that study said)

so they over penalize over punish overkill (untaxed cigarettes)

and they will do this to us...our kids...our women.....we need to raise hell
 
Well, on one of the videos it showed that they did pull 2 packs of Newport's from his pockets......

so they will smoke a few from one of the packs and say the ones missing are the ones he sold.
