Nyc: Whats the best airport?

I don't know where y'all are getting your info from cuz the traffic for the GW Bridge & Lincoln tunnel from NJ into NY alone can hold you up at least 20-30 mins unless you're coming in really late at night. or just after rush hour in the morning.

EZ PASS baby!!! Cab and bus drivers be gettin it!

Jump on 78 to the Turnpike. Turnpike to the Lincoln Tunnel, jump in the EZPASS lane and your in midtown.

im coming from dallas.
goin to be staying at the sheraton on this go round.
whats up with your spot tho?

Just a dope ass hotel that gives you the most tranquil shot of the river from your suite. The hotel is located on the upper west side and gives you quick access to the city when you're ready. They have a lil labor day sale and to me its more than worth it.

I use to drive into new york, but now I take the chinese bus for 20 roundtrip hop on the train and go about my business. I don't see the appeal in wasting so much in traffic.

Even when you catch the train, and depending if the train is express, you're not getting from newark to midtown in a half hour. And if you're traveling after business hours which is any time from 3 to 7 in the afternoon the train is packed to the brim in both directions.

go to newark if you can. generally flights out of & to the area are cheaper there cause no one wants to go there but its not RIDICULOUSLY out of the way. also get the earliest flight you can.

You must be driving the car from Men in Black to seriously think you're getting from anywhere in NJ to Manhattan in 20 minutes.

It's definitely possible, of course not in rush hour traffic ... but from NWK it's exactly as Geist is saying!

YUP!

I flew out of LGA once .. and had to pick someone up once .. it's mad out the way .. and the tolls to get there were a bitch ... NWK is close to 78, turnpike, parkway, and pretty much all major roads ... you'd have choices of how to get to NYC.. Or you can just get on the shuttle to the train station, and its only 2 stops between the airport and penn station (Newark and Secaucus) and then you're right in Midtown..

You are getting RAPED staying in times square.

if ur coming from Dallas, Newark is DEFINITELY the place for you, cuz continental comes out of Dallas. Don't even use travelocity, just go directly to Continentals site. They will have the best deals.

On the Ave is a good hotel for good rates too.

The hudson is straight as well, actually better, but may be more expensive.
