Really it has good implications. The same can be said about cameras in subways but the cameras aren't really strong deterrent to criminals. The robot will deter some people seeing a physical object that stands out. If it can scan the subway for raised voices, screaming, gunshots, etc to it can alert police it would be a win win. Police can't be everywhere. But... I said all that, it will put some folks out of work. Imagine your children on these platforms, your mom's, would u want that snitch bot there or no? This AI shit is gonna ruin us all though. Fucking subway roomba.
