Damn right NOW. I was slipping before because they didn't take the train like that and I would just give them money. The school secretary was like wtf you been doing and even gave me for them and for me.
But I tell them if you forget it or your friends dont have one? Just pay it. Train or bus.
I can't risk it because bro im psycho when it comes to anyone harassing my kids.
I even had a bus driver tell me awhile back just dont pay. But then few days later same line I saw actually cops waiting at a stop for a young guy cause he walked in through the side door. So it depends on the driver some are really assholes about it.
Its rare but I just can't risk it with them.

Treat them free metrocards like they do their cellphones never leave home without it… as far as the bus drivers they really don’t care .. they like whatever I’m still gonna get paid regardless, hurry up and get on so I can keep it moving.. these are not the bus drivers of past where they stay at the stop and be like I’m not moving until you pay or get out.. they are the just press the button on the side to collect info about non payers( the beeping noise you hear whenever someone dosent pay).. my Mta boy put me on to this knowledge Halloween weekend 2023.. I was about to run downtown after midnight cause the weather was amazing that week and I knew people were gonna be out cause it was Halloween weekend, I happened to get on the same bus he was driving and was shocked by how many people weren’t paying..from cacs to Asians, etc.. I was like wtf mad people ain’t paying and my boy just looked at me and was like black who the fuck pays for the bus anymore? It was right there that had me like that’s it I’m joining the free99 campaign.. I will not limit my travel cause I don’t want to spend $3 bucks on car fare or buy monthly’s and weekly’s, cut that bill off and save money.. free99 lives

I being paranoid but I just don't trust it. Why they being so lax on the bus? Especially outside NYC? And now all the buses say pay your fare on the front? And yhe record fare Dodgers? And that OMNI card still dont work right?
But during covid mta had bus free but the numbers weren't as bad as they should have been?

Mta will never be free if it’s up to them.. 10 yrs definitely be $4+ by than.. they probably push them half fare more to make some money..to many buses to patrol them correctly and they wouldn’t want to have to write up to many white people

Mta is a private company.. they are in the bizz to make money.. ny for whatever reason gave them access and control over a lot of things and basically made them a monopoly.. they are a bizz not a charity.. so free is not in their brain.. but they do make outside money off of things like advertisement.. so like how the nfl gets a shitload of money from advertisement, Mta also can get more outside money through advertisement

Yes I saw it and laughed at the obvious.. idk how much the free bus idea helped mamdani but his youthfulness and sounding more like a civilian than a disconnected politician definitely helped him . I was already informed b4 the election from an insider that he was next up and they already thought he was a shoe in cause he appealed to the people.. this person works under the mayor sector and was already prepared to be working under the new mayor months prior

Lmao . If you knew I also have the number and cool with a news reporter that be on tv frequently. Let's just say like I said b4 I grew up around a bunch of 9-5 city workers, mta, correction, board of ed, sanitation, con Edison, post office, medical, etc .. so my elk is nothing but career driven black people and also some Hispanic.. so where I'm from for the most part all you had to do is not fuck up and you could get a good job/career. Also was a whiz kid in school/undercover nerd, than in highschool went to a really good school with a bunch of smart people who for the most part ended up having great careers in medical, financial institutions, city workers, etc.. I also was a huge class clown and popular in highschool and prior so I connected with a lot of people. most of my friends around my way are city workers, etc. so I know a lot of successful people especially minorities. This is jokingly the reason that gave me some respect from the ogs in the adult entertainment game when I stepped in the underground at the ripe age of 20.. went in there as a curious customer and instantly strippers started to gravitate to me even though I wasn't tipping at all( why my friends called me the stripper magnet), my outgoing and instigating personality had me connecting dancers with some of my friends and random customers, kinda made me a natural host.. within the night I probably was close to 20 deep at the event surrounded by a bunch of young 20+ yr old males with good jobs . The ogs saw the young future potential in myself.. eventually that lead to me getting into parties free, etc, plus I started making side money from broads pretty much my second time in the spot off of selling condoms and renting out my flashlight ( a whole nother story).. anyway I know a lot of successful people in different realms and in this particular case an individual younger than me that I've really cool with during COVID from my area got into the political field and cause how I am they share inside info with me just cause I'm cool , laid back, and always seeing how good they are
