He's right though. I dont think its an issue of not wanting to give the team credit. I think its a honest assessment from a guy playing against both teams. If anything i think the guy is being diplomatic in his praise of Lebron. He's basically saying that Lebron is that much of a defensive force on the floor. Lets be honest, he's the best defensive player in the fucking game. Not perimeter defender, not help defender, not team defender, not onball defender. Lebron James is the best individual defensive player in the NBA. Theres nothing special about Miami defensively as a team. They just happen to have a damned good perimeter defender in Wade and a fucking monster in #6. Thats Terry's point.

IBeatOffAlotRecords wil still deny that the Blazers played the Mavs better defensively. But imo the reason why the Blazers played the Mavs better defensively was because the Blazers actually have more young/quick/long/athletic players than the Heat.
As for this series both teams are actually playing good defense. The Heat have actually faced tough defenses in their last 3 rounds (Bos, Chi, Dal)...most of the games that theyve played vs all 3 have been low scoring close games w/ a different star on the Heat showing up every round due to match up problems.
