Im in a bit of a situation....

Pre ordered note 7 , got it.

Sent back my 5. ....im on a lease plan. I dont need to own

Fucking dropped my 7 last week and cracked the screen. Filed a claim for my replacement. As of Wednesday, the replacement is on back order

Yesterday...we get the recall info

Im pretty sure Im gonna have to eat the deductable...it sucks, but it is what it is

Is Samsung smart enough to wait before sending my replacement?

Is there anyway to avoid this deductable or do I just have bad luck/timing?
 
You have bad timing

Each carrier is going to be different, but I'm sure they're going to want it in good working condition, because it's based around what Samsung wants to do. After they fix them I'm sure these will be used as refurbs and replacements

I think one carrier will give you a replacement phone until your new Note is sent, so you won't be without a phone. You might want to check in to that.

AT&T text me and I went to the site and they said they'll take the phone in any condition. So you actually might have had great timing.

Probably depends on where you got it though
 
I called asurion and they told me to call sprint and samsung. I think im gonna take my chances with the recall.

I can always refile my claim later
 
Damn. Real bad timing for this. You must have dropped it on the side or something. Hard to crack these shits but not impossible. You didn't have a case? And on a lease plan can't you still get insurance?

My screen is cracked also. dropped it right before the recall was announced. I'm wondering if they will allow me to swap at Verizon even with the screen busted?

My cases arrived yesterday. I dont like otterboxes. I ordered Spigens from amazon

The cracks are small..but noticeable. Got out of the car with it in my lap

Yeah that's the most common accident with the phones. Yeah I like the Spigen cases too. Can't fuck with them big ass retarded looking Otterbox cases. :smh:

I have insurance. With insurance there is a 250.00 deductible.
