Not trying shit on anybody's religion

You know exactly what I mean, you're being obtuse. For instance, there's only one version of the Quran
There’s multiple religions is it not? So literally they all come from a diff perspective.. just like history books from diff countries .. how am I wrong? Your question was why are there diff books

:cmonson: the bible, there's like 40 some different versions for the same religion
Only one version of the Quran, same religion.
That's what I was questioning

This thread was about religion.. you asked why are there so many books.. I gave you an answer and now you want to move the goal post and talk about a specific religion.. switch the thread title if you want to talk about a specific religion

What? I said can a person turn invisible not has anybody made a cloak. You know what I’m talking about you grasping.
Nope.. you ask can somebody turn invisible.. if I used a cloak and turned invisible..you would say I became invisible.. so you got your answer and now you want to move the goal post

You are lucky to just get logical fallacies on here when it comes to religion especially Christianity. You are dealing with people who have no concept of the septuagint, vulgate nor basic facts like that Matthew didn't actually write Matthew etc but will lecture you on the inerrant good book...

When did this thread become about a specific religion? I didn’t get this memo.. nigs went from asking about religion which is many to now specifically talking about 1

You mean to tell me they didn't live to 800 years old

:roflmao: :roflmao2:

Color me shocked

I think majority of the board is either Christian or likes to take aim at Christianity

But c'mon
Please explain your belief in a G_d that sits back and watches these things that's happening. Don't give me that free will bs, what part of the plan is all this suffering and death, oh is it to prove faith? And please don't come with that"man's understanding" bs either
What about this screams I’m only talking about Christianity?

Nope.. you ask can somebody turn invisible.. if I used a cloak and turned invisible..you would say I became invisible.. so you got your answer and now you want to move the goal post
Lmbaoooo the only one moving the goal posts is you. There is no human that can naturally turn invisible and they haven’t even made a cloak that can you’re talking madness son.

Since I'm bored at work I'll play this game with you
My original question, that you quoted and responded to was why are there so many versions of the Bible
With your thread title in mind I was talking about diff religious books..that’s why I answered diff perspective

I believe it takes a psychological disorder to believe in a higher being that controls your life.
It has to be a mental illness.
How the fuck do you think you got here then? Something had to make a world where you can live in and something had to create you.

Ok then, can you name other religions that have multiple versions of their"good book"
Do I know about every religion nope.. have I said I do nope.. I literally said first page I’m not even super religious.. off your thread title and your first response about asking about god I’ve been responding to you.. now you have switched up arguments and specifically asking certain questions I can not answer cause as I said b4 I’m not even super religious

You ask can man become invisible..if you can with something the answer is yes they can.

Even that isn't true invisibility. It's adaptive camouflage. True invisibility isn't possible and likely never will be.

Bible says Adam lived for 900+ years but I will be lucky to get 20-30 more years out of this motherfucker for some reason. I need more faith I guess...
I think that was Methuselah you're refering to but the point is a good one nonetheless.

This is a good convo and some very interesting perpectives. I will add 4 points everyone should ponder and think deeply about and the answers to these questions will offer clarity in my opinion.

1.Why does God have to be associated with this worlds religions? Is it possible that God has no connection whatsoever with our religions?

2.Do we have a completely unrealistic view of God? Is he omnipotent? Is he all Knowing? Can he impact everything and everyone all at once forever? Can he actually see or alter the future?

3.Does our physical experiences and existence matter in a day to day manner to a being so far advanced?

4.Does our existence in this physical plane prepare us for a far greater existence? Does that make human suffering explainable if its a part of a greater lesson or experince to prepare us for a greater plane of reality?

My personal belief is that there is a supreme creator. Call him God for purposes of discussion. God is the source of all existence from the organized burst of he energy of the big bang to the eventual evolution of life on Earth to get to humans God set it all in motion from nothing. God didnt create anything, alter anything, change anything or evolve anything. The big bang set everything in motion and from that event we are here. religion has given us its concept of God and we buy into it and we lose the facts. I have classes with family and friends and try to get them to open there minds from religion and understand the bigger picture and some have gotten it and other still believe in their lord and savior Jesus Christ no matter how much proof.facts and evidence that I show them Jesus never existed before the Council of Nichea so not everyone can have their eyes opened or be curious enough to even seek out true facts or learn how science validates God not the bullshit version of God in the Bible but the God who used science to show us his existence if we would only see it. my final point will be this a great scientist and I cant remember his name right now was asked how he could believe in God as a scientist and physicist and his answer was I have seen a single cell down to highest level under a nuclear scope and realized at that time that one cell had more than a trillion bits of information at that level and all those bits had to be in perfect synch all the time in order for the cell to function and then he said if the cell malfunctions in those trillions of bits it then would follow a organized process to eventually die and I realized no way could all of this happen without a higher intelligence behind this design. This is why I believe in God cause its simply not possible that everything ever made has a creator but the most unique design in the universe which is life wouldnt be the product of a creator,

I literally posted a segment about scientist saying they are close to creating cloaking capabilities

If a human is not visible to the naked eye the most common thing somebody would say is they are invisible

If you want real comedy, ask about how he cured covid or how he accounts for the disparity in deaths/hospitalizations between the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

You seem to be advocating for a deistic god. There's nothing wrong with that. To each his own.

But if your god doesn't care if people believe in him or not, why bother worrying about if he exists or not? It would make difference either way.

No, the good lord blessed adam with a son at 130 and he lived to 930:

Genesis 5:3

When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

The real comedy is you still talking to the same individual that you claimed should be dead cause he didn’t get a Covid shot.. yet I’m still here alive and we’ll still with no shot

Damn guess you was wrong

Wait a sec it’s a bunch of unvaccinated people still alive in this world double damn you was wrong
