You know how you brace yourself for the transmission to shift, well, the DCT has no lag, you feel the shift but there is no lag, just bam, bam, bam,. LOL, I'm going to stop before I have you knocking on the dealer's door at 8am in the morning

I can see why a Tesla might be better than a S550. The S Class is not known to be an exciting car unless you go for the AMG 65. Apart from the same 4 second burst that you guys keep hawking, how is it better than the M cars, 911turbos, Audi rs, etc?

Truly, I don't care about extreme quickness. I haven't taken my car over 102 mph and anything over 360hp is fine enough for me. I just like a fun car and the M5 is like a fun jet fighter, it makes all types of popping noises, you can hear the gear changing by itself , it's over- built and very well appointed ,the cold start is amazing, almost ceremonial,etc. I would sleep behind the wheel of the Tesla. I appreciate you guys buying it though.

Do you care to answer my question? Does it have the golf cart whine or do you just hear a rush of air?

I've not test driven one yet. Does the driveline have that whine like the golf carts?
Since there is no gear change, do you just ease up on the accelerator after some time?

It drives just like a regular car and honestly you can't tell the difference. To me the only thing I had to get use to was the quietness. Also you can't feel the acceleration so I am often having to look at my speed ometer to see how fast I am driving
